CleverMade EcoBasket Collapsible Grocery Tote, 30L Structured Tote Bag

In looking for some resusable grocery bags with a reinforced bottom, I ordered two different kinds. I ordered a couple from CleverMade and then a set from Creative Green Life. The CleverMade baskets have a very cool “Snaphinge” that automatically will open and close with a little bit of pressure, but not so little that I anticipate them opening/closing when I don’t want them to. The bottom is reinforced, but the sides are a thin fabric-y/paper-y feeling polyester. I wouldn’t want to carry shears or sharp tools in this, but it totally seems hardy enough for groceries (including 2 gallon jugs). It folds down to a low height, but it doesn’t seem as neat when closed as the Creative Green Life one. The Creative Green Life bags weren’t as big as the CleverMade ones, and they reminded me a bit of the fabric cube storage bins one puts in a bookcase with like one foot squares all around. It collapses into a neat, low stack. This will definitely look nicer in one’s trunk when collapsed than the CleverMade ones. But, this one has that same thin, cloth-y/paper-y fabric, but on the bottom. There is a panel that one needs to push down to create a more solid surface on the bottom, but it doesn’t actually reinforce the fabric itself. In opposition to the CleverMade ones, the Creative Green Life bags were reinforced on all sides, except the bottom. So maybe if you were going to carry light, sharp things, this might be better (hangers or floral wire or…?), but I don’t see as much utility for me in this one. I'll be returning the Creative Green Life bags, but hopefully this will be helpful for anyone else considering the two sets. I'd really prefer to give this 4.5 stars, but since I prefer it over the Creative Green Life ones (which I gave 4* to), then this one gets 5* to differentiate.

I love this bag for transporting groceries from the car. It stores flat so it takes up no space. Plus it holds quite a bit

I need to get more of these totes! The one we have already is the best. I’ve used it for soccer snacks, transporting decorations to an event, and it fits perfectly in between the second row captain seats in our SUV for easy to grab activities for the kids on road trips. It’s folds down in seconds and can lay flat in the hall closet. I gave the fancier version by this same brand to my mom as a gift and she’s uses hers a lot too. This one is much less expensive though and seems just as good to me (albeit not quite as cute of a design). I was debating buying this version due to the reviews being lower than the other, but the handles and everything else has been absolutely fine. Love it.

I wanted a carry all that would stay open when empty. This one works well. But yet folds flat nicely when not needed. Not the sturdiest material, so we shall see how well it holds up with use.

Holds a lot and it’s sturdy

Very happy with this purchase and love the shoulder straps! They work great toting laundry up and down stairs and now I don't have to worry about falling carrying a basket down. They're just the right size for a load of laundry and they fold and store easily. Would definitely buy again.

These are cute little convenient pop-up bags that I love using for everything but wow, just wow at how unimpressed I am with what you get for what you spend. 👎👎 Absolutely not worth what they’re asking as I purchased double the quality of bag at double the size in a two pack from C🤑STC0 for less‼️ Update- I have LIGHTLY used these only 5-6 times for over a month, only to carry Amazon clothing returns in them and they are already looking like the fabric they are made of will rip or tear clean through as it is super cheap dollar store cloth bag material. I wouldn’t even classify the material as reusable bag material bc it is so weird & crappy. Mind you that I have not put heavy things in these bags, overweighted them, carried anything pokey or bulging in them as I know that they would for sure rip. = I have buyers remorse with not returning these immediately‼️

Very handy at first but has drawbacks. The primary material is fabric, including the bottom. At least one of mine has already worn through the fabric bottom. Also, at least one of mine has an issue with the hinge that holds the basket open or collapses it. I bought these hoping to carry groceries more easily and it's ok for that with the previously indicated drawbacks. I also bought others made of different materials.
