Having read the previous reviews regarding 'this is tight if you have a large head' I thought having a medium head (58cm) it would be fine however as you can see from the first photo the fit is rubbish if you have a slim oval face, bearing in mind you are buying this hat for winter therefore you want it to be a snug fit so the wind doesn't get down the sides like it should be in my second photo but the chin strap won't adjust tight enough. Also the toggle at the back which should adjust it tighter to your forehead like a strap does on a baseball cap is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Tighten it and within a second it's back slack again. Gutted as I wanted this for fishing through winter. The idea is there but they haven't quite pulled it off. I'm sure if you have a rounder face and the hat fitted then it would be lovely and warm. My advice, try before you buy and don't make the school boy error I did by throwing the packaging away so I couldn't return it.

My head is 59cms so this cap is a tight fit. It's a tad uncomfortable where the headband grips my head. I found the metal press studs on the face mask quite difficult to unfasten, which could be a problem if you have cold hands. It is warm and snug in cold weather and keeps the icy wind at bay. It's just not quite large enough, so avoid it if you have a head size of 59 cm or over.

This hat is comfortable and cosy lovely for cold days, my husband mostly uses it to keep his ears warm and he sometimes just uses it as a cap by folding the ear flaps and attach it to each other.

Bit snug, very slightly too small for my head, and I don't really have a big head.Comfy, warm, waterproof.The strap for the chin wasn't sewn or anything, started fraying on the 2nd wear. Had to melt the strap slightly to stop it fraying again and stop the strap going through the clasp.

I only read the reviews after I ordered this and began to regret buying it because some reviewers were saying it was too small for their heads. I have no such problem. My head measures 58cm and it fits very comfortably. It's nice and warm and the mouth cover is nice and spacious inside. No problems with the stitching either as some had mentioned. It's a great hat and I'm looking forward to colder weather so that I can wear it and feel snug and smug!

I get a lot of neuralgia in the winter working outside on the coast. Got this hat to try and it definitely keeps the elements out. Touch wood, have had no problems with the neuralgia. Very warm and good in the rain. Works for me and the added mask attached is a bonus especially now we are covid aware. It is adjustable with an elastic pull tab at the back so you have plenty of scope for adjusting to fit.

Very pleased got it for my elderly Dad who likes baseball cup style hats and this is very warm all thoughout. I had to improve only o. The backle clip to make sure my carers wo t loose it but otherwise excellent product! Particularly pleased that it has a front part as it really helps during windy or cold days against caught provocation

Excellent hat to keep you safe and warm from the elements whilst walking the dog in these cold wet and windy winter months. The fur lining keeps your head and more importantly ears nice and warm Whilst the waterproof outer keeps you nice and dry. The clip on a face mask is also really good when you need to cover your face from the elements.
