This shampoo and conditioner are easy to use; the pumps work efficiently, the shampoo lathers well, and the conditioner is easy to apply. The products smell nice and fresh.There is something in the shampoo that irritates my scalp. I don’t know what it is, but I’d just say to be careful if you have a very sensitive scalp. It’s disappointing, because my hair absolutely LOVES this shampoo! I’ve been using the conditioner for just the lower half of my hair, and after using both products, my hair feels soft, and it looks calmer and less frizzy. If you don’t have a particularly sensitive scalp, this product is definitely worth a try, and I would have given it a 5-star review if it hadn’t been for that one little issue. It’s not the most irritating shampoo I’ve tried, but I’m finding that my scalp reacts to a lot of ingredients that don’t seem to bother other people. So, read the other reviews, and if your scalp isn’t super-sensitive, you should be safe with these products.The only other thing I’ll mention is that I wish the shampoo and the conditioner bottles had different-colored labels! When I’m in the shower, I don’t want to risk confusing one from the other. Apart from that, this is a salon-quality product, and I’m happy to recommend it.

It's got a nice subtle smell and everything about it feels high end.

First, a little about my hair and my current routine. My hair is about 45% grey according to my hairdresser. My curl type is 2c so it is naturally wavey. I keep it shorter and color treat it with a double process of black with magenta all over highlights for which I keep vibrant with a color depositing conditioner. I co-wash my hair on most days with a cleansing conditioner and I shampoo about once a week. I find that co-washing on most days keeps my hair from getting dry.Because I don't shampoo every day, I don't have the ability to discern if this is over-drying to my hair, but I have shampooed a handful of times since getting this and overall I do like it. It smells great and my hair feels clean when I use this without feeling over stripped. The magenta tends to bleed a little with every shampoo. I completely expected to with this and it did, but it was no more than I expected. However, it did not seem to affect the black in the few times I have used this.After styling, my hair felt soft and light. I haven't had any scalp irritation using this. However, I think the cost of this product can be limiting to many. Since I don't shampoo every day, this will last me a long time, but if I used it every day, I don't think I would continue using it because there are options out there that I feel work just as well but a better value for my dollar because they are larger in overall quantity.
