So we made our own cabinet and had to make our own doors work. We made 1” thick doors and later realize that it’s hard to find a hinge that would work for the doors. Our cabinet is frameless so we needed inset frameless door hinges. We tried 10 different hinges on our thick door to see if it would work and none of them worked except for these Blum hinges! We were so excited to find a hinge that worked because we would have had to make new doors costing us a lot of extra money and time , These hinges were a lifesaver. You can see in the video that the gap between the door and the frame is about 1/8 of an inch thick and that’s fine for us but just keep that in mind if you have a thicker door and using these hinges, it will open but the gap is slightly bigger than usual. I hope this was helpful, as I spent weeks searching for hinges, I wished this kind of video existed somewhere.

Excellent hinge but packaging lost most of the screws for hinges. not sure why the screws were not in a sealed package vice floating inside a big bag with all the hinge pieces but the outer bag had a hole in it and all but 3 screws were lost. It would also help to have instructions included or at least a url link pointing to where to get the instructions.

Hinges were exactly what I wanted and at a good price. No instructions at all though. Fortunately, the internet provides instructions. Only other issue was they sent the wrong size hinge covers—didn’t matter to me because I don’t really need them.

These don't specify whether these are full or half crank. Very, very important thing to know. Unfortunately, these are full crank and I needed half crank.

Does the job better than the original equipment.

I have used Blum Soft-Close hinges for many years and never had a failure. They are easy to adjust to get a perfect door fit. They make removing & re-installing doors simple.
