This item is very sturdy, not like others I have received. Makes picking up all the dog toys a lot easier and anything I drop. Good for the price. Like that I can fold it up when not using and can be put away without much space, the design is good and not heavy to use.

A really handy tool to have within reach. Good price and quite functional. The extra reach it gives you is very useful. Definitely worth the price.

Extremely useful tool, bending over or reaching up high is a strain on an 82 y/o man. This is a great help.

I like how each section clips into each other make it stronger. Nice quality for $10. Only one downfall it’s not very strong. I tried to use it to open a cabinet in the door over my stove and I had to go behind the knob to open it because it wouldn’t hold on tight enough other than that works pretty well.

I have another of these which is kind of flimsy. When I bought this, I stepped up and paid a little more and it was worth it. It works perfectly, and the magnets are strong enough to pick up my key ring, which is kind of heavy. If there is one problem, it is that the unit is a touch too long, which can make it awkward to use at times. That is more than made up for by the times the extra reach is needed.After using this about a month, it developed a "hitch" in it's action. It gets partway closed and then stops. A harder squeeze gets past this, but it's real annoying. I have looked the unit over closely, and cannot find a "part way" switch or anything else whereby I may have caused this problem myself and can't find anything.I just have to hope it goes away with more use.

This reaching tool is very well made and grips items extremely well.I have bought and broken MANY reaching tools like this but this one stands out above all others for grip strength, well made joints, rubberized portion where your hand grips the tool and the fasteners used to open the tool are super well made and use metal locking loops on opposing extensions for extra stability and strength (a small detail but it makes a HUGE difference in the strength of the joints, whereas all the others I had were simply cheap plastic, NOT this one)!I am purchasing several more of these to keep in various places of the house and especially in our storage shed which has high shelves I can't reach.BEST REACHING TOOL I HAVE EVER HAD!!The 44inch reach is wonderful.I have shown a cable remote with the folded picture for size comparison. It extends fully locked at 44 inches but is still sturdy and holds a can of vegetable easily! Love this!BEYOND 5 STAR RATING!!
