These are nice for the money, received a good batch and am happy with this brand of Bay leaves
Very nice, quality Bay leaves from McCormick. These say Turkish Bay leaves and they are from Turkey, I had a hard time finding the exp date but was happy to find they had one and its in 2026. The leaves are clean, nice condition, unblemished, fragrant and packaged well. After pulling out about 1/3rd of them to inspect I only found 1 bad one (see pic) and honestly it wasnt that bad. If your looking for a large container of Bay leaves I think this is one of the bet ones you'll find. I read so many reviews on many other brands and most all had moldy leaves issues, this brand did not, they were very nice and I would recommend them.

This a lot of bay leaves!
I live alone so I don't use a lot of bay leaves but I got tired of buying the itty bitty jars in the supermarket where the bay leaves are mostly broken. These look whole and fresh, with no broken leaves that I could tell.

Many whole leaves in great shape!
I like whole leaves easily retrieved from finished pot before serving. Leaves that fragmented or have many discolorations look like ground recoveries. These look generally good. Not old, I think. Good value!

no complaints
Just a heads up here - mine arrived with the plastic container cracked all the way down the side. Product was intact, I just had to move to some alternate containers when it arrived. The bay leaves seem good though...

The best I've ever had. Hands down.
I got tired of buying bay leaves at the grocery store only to end up with a container of busted up leaves with a lot of crumbs on the bottom of the container. Sometimes almost smelling dusty. I was FLOORED the first time I opened the container of these bay leaves. I never knew it had such a strong, lovely smell! My mouth was almost watering. I waited to post a review because it's a large jar and I had no idea how quickly the smell and flavor would fade, or if we were stupidly lucky to get a nice jar.Well, it took us a little over a year to go through this jar and we use 5+ leaves a week generally. The smell had faded some by the time we reached the bottom, but the leaves were still adding a lovely flavor to homemade soups and home cooked beans (especially garbanzos.) I honestly didn't expect the quality that these bay leaves are. These are also LARGE and WHOLE leaves, tightly packed into the container. There is a lot of very lovely leaves per container. make sure to carefully remove them so they don't get broken (an OCD habit) and very, very few leaves in the container are broken. I think this is in part due to how tightly they are packed to they don't bash around when shipped. This in turn gives you a very large supply of bay leaves.I grew up with mom frequently using bay leaves so it is something I'm really picky about. She always swore by the fact that the freshest bay leaves were from the health food store, but these Turkish bay leaves are still the best I've ever had, by a long shot.We recently ordered another container as we ran out, and the new container is just as lovely as the first one we got. I will never buy another brand of bay leaves.

Superior quality
The media could not be loaded. McCormick bay leaves are very fragrant, clean, and most importantly, they arrived pretty much intact. Regarding the nature of dry leaves, it can easily break into small pieces, but they did a great job handling the item. Will buy again and again!

What I expect from McCormick
My jar arrived in wonderful condition. The leaves were well packed, good size and whole not broken. This is the quality I have come to expect from McCormick and they do not disappoint.

Good enough for my kitchen!
Finding good quality bay leaves is challenging. Leaves are frequently broken, appear to have been partially eaten by insects, have suspicious discolorations. These are not like that. They are clean of blemishes, the broken ones are few and the flavor is excellent. The price is also excellent.I think I am done looking for the 'good bay leaves'. These are them.
