Crampons, Ice Cleats for Shoes and Boots - Ice Grips for Snow and Ice

These were easy one and seem to stay in place even without the included strap. We recently had a bad ice storm, and I had trouble walking anywhere. Now I will be prepared for the next storm. They have an included carrying bag so they will be easy to pack or keep in the vehicle in bad weather. I bought several family members these cleats also

Our family spends about 2 weeks per ski season in the mountains, and a recurring problem is lost traction when walking in the snow with our boots. I've used crampons before, so I'm hoping these will do a good job as well. I had my 6th grader try them on and they were easy to put on. It took some time to put them on the first time, but after a few attempts, it becomes easier.

I was confused by the velcro straps until I reviewed the listing again. I didn't notice them when ordering, but that's a nice touch to keep the crampons secure. They came with a reusable bag to store them in -- again, an unexpected but nice addition to an inexpensive pair of crampons. The XL size fit over my size 9 shoe easily with the aid of the pull tab on the heel area. The spikes are actual spikes, unlike my older pair that were metal nubs. They grip really well. We live at the bottom of a hill, and I am always concerned about slipping and falling on snow and ice whenever I go up to get my mail during winter. These give me a sense of security.
