Q: what is the material please

It is a light thin fleece material. Good for layering & comfortable.

Q: Does this come under a midlayer?

I would say so it’s not like a thin under armour top or a micro fleece but somewhere in the middle when it’s a bit chilly out I put a T-shirt over it and a bobble hat to top it off it’s a good top👍

Q: Could anyone tell me if the tops are a tight fit.

They are not very tight, but a little. I would say normal fit.
