Dunlop Latex Mattress Topper - Medium - 3" - Full

So happy with this topper! I have it on top of an older tempurpedic mattress that is just too hard. I’ve tried many ways to soften it from the egg crate toppers, several memory foam toppers with different covers, to combinations that included down toppers, and all were comfortable to varying degrees. But this is by far the best one yet. I live in South Fl. so heat is an issue. This one sleeps cooler than anything I’ve tried. It has a bit less give, which takes some getting used to, but I’m waking up with much less back and shoulder pain. After opening the package there was little to no smell but I let it air out for 24 hours before putting it on the bed. I bought the cover as well and that actually smelled a bit but was also fine after 24 hours. This is the first mattress pad I have ever bought that actually covers the entire mattress without leaving that annoying 1-2” gap at the top or bottom! I bought king size with the cover and it’s heavy, so wrestling the cover on (68yo female) isn’t fun but it’s doable. Also, in case you’re worried, I am allergic to latex and have asthma as well. Also fibromyalgia, back problems, and probably arthritis. However, I haven’t had any issues or symptoms since sleeping on this topper. Except for waking up feeling rested and not hurting nearly as much! Worth the money!

I purchased a gel/memory foam mattress 6 years ago that I donated to a young couple when I relocated to Arizona 14 months ago. I didn't realize the nightmare I would go through trying to find the perfect mattress. Mattress Firm no longer carried that specific model (manufacturer no longer in business) but they assured me the Tempur-pedic was the equivalent model (Adapt model). I paid $2,500 including tax and delivery. I had the mattress for almost 5 weeks and found sleeping on my $500 sofa was more comfortable. The Adapt was a medium firm but it felt more like a firm. I returned that, paid a 20% restocking fee, and then purchased a Molecule Hybrid Plush mattress. It was an improvement, but 5 months later, I still slept on my sofa 70% of the time.I then discovered the mattress toppers. I first purchased a 3 inch topper from Costco for $200 that was pathetic. Next, I purchased the Tempur-pedic Supreme, 4 inch topper. It made a difference, but this topper was too plush and it moved around! I could never get it to stay in place. Plus, it really bothered my lower back when I slept on my stomach— I sleep on my side, back and stomach.I almost gave up. I though this was it. I went back to mattress firm and tried a $4,500 (plus tax!) LUX Breeze by Tempur-pedic. This model was the best but the price tag was too much for me. I then stumbled on this topper natural latex topper. I feel so lucky!When I opened the package, there was a strong odor, that disappeared after 6 hours. I opened my windows and set a fan blowing on the topper. Plus, the topper had ventilation so it aired out quickly.This topper is everything I've been looking for. It's incredibly comfortable whether I sleep on my back, side or stomach. It's cool as well, but the after market Suptrex cover is cool as well and it has clamps that ensure the latex topper doesn't slide around. I NEVER sleep on my sofa anymore! My sofa feels so cheap now! To say I am happy is an understatement. I sleep like a king every night. Some days I don't want to get out of bed (good thing!). Like someone else stated in a review, you will NOT be disappointed.One last thing, I'm glad I read the sellers notes regarding the softness; you want the medium (this model) if you sleep on your back and stomach. It has just the right amount of plush. It's somewhere between a medium and a plush. So, not so much medium nor plush— it's just right. The soft would have been to plush. And lastly, please keep in mind I have a premium Molecule Hybrid Copper infused mattress ($2,000 mattress), that plays a role in this as well. If you have a firm mattress, you might need the soft latex version opposed to the medium. I tried sleeping with the latex topper on the floor to mimic a firm mattress and it felt uncomfortable. So, keep that in mind. Hope this helps!

This is a really nice latex topper! Memory foam was horrible for me, but latex is definitely the way to go. I have used latex pillows for many years now, and this latex topper helped a very uncomfortable firm mattress become sleepable. Latex has great support, and is also soft. Memory foam sinks down and stays down as long as you are on it, and latex does not sink like memory foam. I also find it cooler to sleep on. So in my opinion latex is so much better for my back and neck issues and I love it!

This review is primarily for Sleep number bed owners like myself.My king sleep number bed, (SNB) is 17 years old. The model SNB from 17 years ago had a 1 1/2 inch latex and a 1 1/2 synthetic foam on top of each other just above the air bladder. The foam started to compress as I woke up with a lower back ache. I felt like I was sleeping in a soft culvert. My body was 3 inches or more sunken no matter if I had 100% air level in the bladder.The solution was removing the old foam and inserting the 3 inch thick latex. My sleep number bed has a zippered on polyester filled top so access was a breeze to the foam.My SNB with the 3 inch latex foam, medium Twin XL fit perfectly on my one half of the king bed. MY wife likes her half as it is but I definitely needed this change.Wow, huge improvement! No need to buy a new mattress. Actually, I definitely believe that the bed is better than when it was brand new. No more lower back aches!This company delivered on time and the latex mattress was sized correctly. So If you have an aging SNB do not hesitate to do what I did. I only have one problem with the SNB now and that is the hand control does not read out anymore but it is easy to know when I have it pumped all the way as that is the way like it.

Great quality but wish I would have ordered the soft instead of the medium. The medium feels very firm to me. My husband loves it but he prefers to have a firm bed.

Latex has its own unique luxury feel. Latex mattress are also among the most expensive mattresses when made of all latex. This topper helped achieve that special feel I like.Natural Latex does have a mild scent but nothing offensive. I tend to be sensitive to odors . This product seems just fine

Unbelievable fumes permeate everything. Don't let go of your previous mattress topper for a month before you use this. Let it air out in your garage for a month before use. \Otherwise, it's exactly as described and of good quality.UPDATE: We had to throw it out. After 4 months outside and in garage, it still stank. Money wasted.
