Great tool for DIYers. Fits in my standard 20v drill chuck. No need to get a dedicated mixing drill. I've mixed multiple buckets of joint compound. Works great. If you're going to put it to hard use, then it's probably better to just invest in a fully metal mixing paddle. Don't expect it to perform the same, it is plastic after all. Too much torque will break it.

Great tool for mixing hit mud. Fairly easy to clean and mixes well. I expect it to hold up, been using it monthly for over a year now.

Functionality:Great length for 5 gallon bucket. Kept our oil stain mixed up well. No sediment at the bottom when finished. Highly recommend.

Made of good steel

I find this works decent with a normal cordless drill, but a lower geared mixing drill would work better and be less likely to make whipped cream out of whatever you're mixing if you accidentally pull the trigger back too far.I think the price is a bit high for the construction. The bit shank has some pitting on it from the factory and it's a very simplistic head shape, not any complicated helical bit or anything. It seems to clean a bit easier than metal ones, so there's that.

Been looking for a good mud mixer and this is it! All the other metal mixers would gouge the bucket and leave small pieces in the mud!! This mixer is great, mixes the mud quickly and fully! Long as you mix your mud the proper time it leaves virtually no chunks of unmixed powder!! I would be careful when mixing that you don’t mix full speed against the pal as this mixer is a plastic and will eventually break! Best results are with a corded drill!! Definitely recommend!!!
