Dear Customer, Many thanks for your inquiry. No, it doesn't fit for N4 dash cam. Thank you. On regards Vantrue

Dear customer, Thanks for your inquiry. You can wipe it with a microfiber cloth if it gets dirty. Hope it may help. On regards By Vantrue

are you supposed to twist it to adjust once it's screwed on? I noticed 2 notches in the lens.

Once tightened by hand, it can be rotated 360°. Clockwise is best as you look at the front of the cam. As ccw can unscrew the filter.

Why is there no filter for the N4?

Dear customer, Many thanks for your asking. The lens diameter of this CPL is not fit for N4 dash cam. And the circular polarizer filter is our new design accessory products for E series and the latest N4 Pro dash cam. If more question, please contact us via support@vantrue.net. Thank you! On regards Vantrue
