Specifically bought this for a small closet that does not have a light. This item is cute and squishy, would be a great gift for a kid. It gives off good light and has multiple colors and can be controlled by remote. Long battery life. Have used in power outage. Good for the cost.

I bought one of these LumiPets on a whim when I was pregnant with our first baby because it was cute & I thought it might come in handy. It turned out to be WAY more useful than I ever anticipated! 🤯 Its soft light is perfect for middle-of-the-night diaper changes & nursing sessions, the brighter colors are great for visual engagement, and the soft silicone body is gentle on little skin. We’ve also used it for reading bedtime stories & taking potty breaks in the wee hours of the morning.Some quick features: to turn the light on, press the button on the base one time. It starts with a soft white light, but you can firmly tap the animal to change it to a brighter white light, a gradual color-changing light, an abrupt color-changing light, and to turn it off. Press the button a second time to “lock” the light into whichever setting you choose (which is useful for preventing rainbow light displays when you’re trying to read a story). Press the button a third time to turn the light off. The remote that’s included allows you to choose a solid color light, make it brighter/dimmer, and set a timer so it shuts off automatically. The battery life has been fantastic!We used the bear light every night for 3 years, but now he is mostly retired (I wouldn’t recommend these lights for lots of hands-on play—the silicone body can be peeled away from the lighted base, and our kiddo has pulled them apart so many times that it doesn’t stay together as well anymore). Now with our second baby, we got the kitty light, which is cuter by far! 🐱 I’ve also gifted the elephant & owl to friends who were expecting little ones, and they said it’s come in handy. LumiPets are just so adorable AND useful—I highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my daughter to have in her room during the night. She loves it. It’s very soft to the touch and easy for her to snuggle with. The battery has lasted a while and I like that it recharges. It comes with a remote to change the color and settings. It can be dimmed easily. If you touch the top of the light it also automatically changes color and dimness. It’s super cute and love that it can be taken anywhere! So far works well! I’ll purchase another for my son

So far I'm really impressed with this little night light.My toddler, 2.5 yo LOVES it. He told me (without prompting) that it was "very cute".It seems very durable. My kid has been smooshing it in over and over and over. It pops back out easily ever time. There's a good number of colors and my kid likes to go through and say all their names. He also likes picking out a color before bed.There is a pretty decent amount of control/options just by tapping the light. It starts with dim white, then bright white, then all the colors fading from one to the next, and then all the colors jumping from one to the next --on this setting, you can wait for the color you like and tap the light one more time and that's the color that it will stop on.We have the version with the remote. There are a couple more things you can do with the remote that you can't do just by tapping, including: dimming any color you set it on (there's probably five or so different dim settings from bright to low light. You can also set a timer (15 min, 30 min, 60 min). My kid loves playing with the remote (which he also sometimes pretends is a cell phone, lol!).The battery lasts a pretty long. We've been using it for about two to three days at a time before needing to recharge -- for both nap (2 hours) and bedtime (it's on for probably 10-12 hours). We'll see how battery life holds up over time, but right now it's stellar. Longer than my iphone stays charged...!!The only teeny tiny complaint I have is that it's pretty sensitive -- we'll get it on the color/dim setting we want and then set it on my kid's pillow and it'll change b/c it thinks we tapped it. dang! But that's not that big of a deal in my book. And I'm just really pleased that my kid likes it so much and it helps him feel better at night.UPDATE: The battery has since stopped lasting so long. At this point it can last about a day of use (that's all night and about three hours of nap), which is still pretty impressive. However, I've taken to just keeping it plugged in unless my kid wants to play with it (which he still loves to do). It's been a great tool to help with bedtime/naptime routine: he likes to help get the room ready (close shutters, turn on white nose, turn off overhead light), and sometimes it's kind of a pain to have him do all that (esp b/c some of it involves me having to lift him up!). Instead, I have him pick a color for his polar bear, which he loves to do, while I do everything else. Works well and everyone is happy. :-)ANOTHER UPDATE:The remote stopped working recently. I contacted the seller. They replaced the remote for free -- very kind and fast customer service. I was very pleased!

Super cute night light for my daughter. Love that you can pick their favorite animal and the color of the light. Easy for her to use, she’s 4, you just tap the night light and it turns on or use the remote. Would recommend

Lasts forever, so many colors. I recommend. My daughter my scared to walk down the hall to go to restroom, even when I was with her. This helped her a lot. Sometimes she would lay down and wasn’t ready for bed we would watch the different colors to calm her down before bed. It is soft and can’t hurt themselves with it. I keep the remote in night stand but my daughter was 3 when I got this and she was able to use it on her own. We are still using it, now that she’s turning 5 and started getting scared of the dark in her room. The light is ready great, can dim to being bright and the ease of the buttons for yourself to control while your toddler can turn it in and off as they want. There is another button they can change the color on their own as well without the remote.

Just adorable and every child will love it! Great nightlight and changing colors are awesome!

Squishy and colorful. My grandson likes having the choice in colors. It did not come with A brick. It’s a usb to c plug in. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cute nightlight. I was not compensated for this review.
