The finished product is great. I somehow missed adding a piece but I was done by that point and wasn't taking the thing apart to add a piece that isn't crucial to the stability.It took me several hours to put it together by myself. Granted I was also making a half dozen important phone calls while I was doing it, it still took forever and the instructions weren't the best. Half the pieces weren't labeled so I had to lay it all out and figure it out myself. Not the first thing I've had to put together like that.Once it was completely put together it was very sturdy and my plants fit nicely. I set it on front of the window and my plants are thriving.Then came Eleanor.Eleanor is my cat that thinks he (yes, he) is entitled to every window and cabinet in the house and he will knock down everything in his way to get what he wants. He's not little, he's 9+ lbs of solid jerk and he kept slipping THROUGH the cat stand to get to the window in my office. He knocked down the same pot of hen and chicks 3 times because he kept sneaking in the room. The last time I created a rather ridiculous looking support bar behind that particular plant, in case he gets in the room again. Somehow the plants survived, he's been permanently evicted from the room, and the plant stand remains in front of the window. Come spring the succulents will go outside and my tropicals will go on it but for now I have plants on all the shelves except the bottom three as they get no light due to where I have the stand. I put other things on those shelves. I'm quite happy and despite what a pain it was to put together I'll definitely buy another in the future.

These plant stands are a perfect addition to my living room! The spaces are a good size. It was easy to put together. My only advice is if you will butt them up against each other (like my image) make sure they meet and don’t gap before you tighten it all up. Double the work of not. Absolutely a great purchase. Well worth the money spent!

This was perfect for a small space to fill under a window. It was easy to assemble and looks very nice with plants on it.

Love it. Took a bit to assemble, but it looks great and doesn't seem as flimsy as others I have seen.
