Wow....I am blown away
I bought two sets. One was Guyker and the other is Musiclily. I installed the Guykers and they were good but one of the tuners was defective. It felt different from the rest. Overall good but one bad tuner. I contacted them and I was asking for one tuner replacement. They told me to go back through Amazon. I did and unfortunately, Amazon said I could return them for a refund even thought I only wanted one tuner to be replaced. Well it worked out for the best because I then installed the Musiclily. I would have to say these are on par with the Gotoh Magnum Locks I have on another guitar. They are super smooth and very reactive for tuning. I will be returning the Guykers and buying another set of the Musicality's. If you are looking for an excellent tuner with that smooth buttery feel, Musiclily are making some damn nice tuners and get this they are even cheaper than I paid for the Guykers! The Guykers are smaller which I do like but they are logo'd up. I love the Musiclily's because they are all black with no logo. They look cleaner and over I score these very high. Very high quality, tuning retention, reactive and they look amazing. If you are on the fence, the Musicality's are excellent and really feel as quality as my Gotoh Magnum Locks. The Guykers are good but when comparing they have a little play when tuning up or down. It's very slight but I can feel it in comparison this gives the Musiclily's that reactive accuracy when tuning. You move the tuner button and instantly you can hear the string react sharp or flat. I am amazed how good these feel for the price they are selling them for. The fit and finish is great and they were super easy to install. They dropped right in my Jackson strat.

Great tuners for fair price.
I just installed these in my project guitar, a Monoprice Indio Classic. Total time from start to finish was 40 minutes. I am no luthier. Fit perfectly: I did not have to drill any new holes and they simply dropped in. They are snug, no wiggle after bolted and screwed down. The screws that came with this were slightly larger than the originals which to me is a plus. Appearance is really nice. They have no branding, which is also a positive in my eyes. They look better on the guitar than in the pictures you will find here on Amazon. Finally, and most importantly, they work really well. Easy to snug the strings into the tuning head and very intuitive to use. Made the restring job much easier, and less frustrating, then they usually are for me. I intend to replace all my electric guitar tuners with these. I cannot comment on the longevity yet, but if they fall apart or fail in the future I will post an update. They look solid; but who knows? I can say the metal on the super cheap tuners I replaced literally was flaking off already. I highly recommend these. Hopefully this review helps you. I read several prior to placing my order and they were spot on. Great locking tuners for a very fair price. Peace!

Best value-priced locking tuners I've found
I've installed these on several of my Strat-style guitars now, and found them to be an excellent value, even compared to more expensive brands. They are well-made and hold tune very well. The locking nuts are easy to grasp and tighten without tools. Finish is good, though they may need a quick polish out of the package. The only caveat - and the reason one star was knocked off - is they require a 3/8" hole, which may lead to having to drill out headstocks sized for "vintage" tuners. If you're not okay with this, check others but pay careful attention to the size diagrams (a good digital caliper will help with that).

Perfect upgrade. I will buy again and again for my project.
I just installed these locking guitar tuners, and they’ve completely transformed my playing experience. The tuning stability is outstanding – even with aggressive bends and heavy strumming, my guitar stays perfectly in tune. Installation was straightforward, and the quality of the materials is top-notch. They not only function flawlessly but also add a sleek, professional look to my guitar. String changes are now a breeze, saving me so much time and hassle. Whether you’re a professional musician or a casual player, these locking tuners are a game-changer. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their instrument. Easily a 5-star product!

Great company with honorable people.
Let me first off say the people that work for this company are proud and do there best to support you the best quality for the dollar merchandise. I so far purchased two of there products, both parts are of quality and excellent craftmanship. I build guitars with quality parts and quality sound. These are GREAT STEEL parts manufactured very well and not thin cheap brittle low grade steel. I look at building a guitar from 5 elements....METAL , WOOD , EXPRIENCE, PRIDE, AND EXCELLENT CRAFTMANSHIP! Those are the secrets to a high dollar professional instrument. This company provides all of those with the exception of the "WOOD"(guitar body/neck) , that you will have to get on your own. With all this being said i stand behind musiclily and the SUPPORT the great people working hard to achieve their goal as a company . They are honest and are putting good products out there! If something is not right this company will honor there craftmanship and commitment to delivering HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS. As to what i was saying earlier so far i have purchase two items , locking tuners and the PRO vintage trem . The tremolo system was SOLID metal, HEAVY, and RESONATES SOUND with a FULL size tremolo cut to the correct specifications .The locking tuners are QUALITY metal, Machined very smoothed , and cut to the correct specifications to fit the 10mm hole in my strat neck .........with the exception of one faulty tuner( threads stripped in locking mechanism). I contacted musiclily and they corrected the issue and responded fast with great customer service .They sent me a replacement of my faulty part with a quality correct working part. I payed for 6 quality tuners and in the end I received 6 quality tuners with the added confidence that this company will do justice for aspiring musicians and guitar Luthers. I'm proud to have choosen musiclily products to build my guitars and I hope I gave some insight to anyone that has considered using this outstanding company's products . Overall I am impressed, thank you musiclily for making things right!

Rough threads (assembly), but great value.
This is my 3rd set installed on 3 of my guitars. The barrel threads are very rough, screw them together a few times and maybe wd40 them, right before install, this probably won't do much, but a little bit on some of them, some are much rougher than others. I also had trouble with the A string on my Ibaneze grga guitar, the tuning peg once installed was very hard to turn the others were ok, I swapped it with a good one, and had the same trouble, which meant something other than the tuning peg. I eventually determine that I should probably crank the barrel bolt down really snug , and see what happens, that worked, and the peg turned perfectly. The screw two headstock hole was offset just slightly, not a problem though and could be because of Ibanez or the pegs, either way it's not a problem. So, I don't ding it a star for the rough install barrel threads, because the price is about half of other pegs, and they actually work totally flawlessly once properly installed, and they look great. ...and generally speaking; locking tuners are so much better imv than the traditional ones, fast string change, better in-tune stability, hassle of string changes is brought to an absolute minimum. Ernie Ball and D Adario should give locking tuners away , cause you'll change your strings if you have them, two or 3 times more often. :)

An okay tuner for a reasonable price...
Edit after a few months: The guitar I originally had this on had problems with the high E string slipping and the tuner coming loose after a few weeks. I thought this was because of the thin string, but replaced those with a different set of tuners and moved the Musiclily ones to another guitar. The way I did the swap, what had been the high E now became the low E tuner. Now I find that the low E tuner comes loose after a few weeks. (The string holds, but it loses tune frequently until you realize you need to re-tighten the locking screw.) I'm going to try some teflon tape on the threads to see if that helps it hold, but the bottom line is that one of six seems to have some type of problem that really didn't fully show itself until I'd been using them a few months and on two different guitars at two different positions. Original Review: This was a perfect fit and easy to install on my Ibanez Gio. The high E slipped out the first time I used them, but after cranking the locking down a bit harder, it held. These are my first locking tuners, so I was probably a bit timid on them. It definitely makes installs strings correctly a breeze. (People talk about locking tuners not helping guitars stay in tune, but in my experience sloppy winding is a common cause of tuning issues--and this helps get rid of that issue.) My only complaint is that the 15:1 ratio is a bit fast. They are absolutely usable, but I will probably get something with a higher ratio for the Ibanez (which gets almost daily play) and put these on an s-style kit I built that came with really sloppy tuners. Bottom line is that I'd buy something a bit better for my everyday player, but feel like these are a better fit for something that is more a rig I experiment on (different pickups, different wiring, etc.) and that doesn't get near as much playing time.
