I really enjoyed reading this book because it explained difficult concepts in a very easy-to-use and application process. The author wrote in a style that is very helpful in understanding the concepts of Financial statements.

Well written; explains the subject quite nicely. I am a lawyer and also have an MBA. This was a gift for a physician friend.

Basic and easy to understand introduction to financial statements. This is a high level review. I definitely learned something, but you may want to consider another book if you want a in-depth / detailed dive into financial statements.

I have spent a lot of time lately learning about investing and other aspects of personal finance. I was recommended to learn about how to read financial statements and purchased this book. I was not disappointed. This book is short, but provides a good enough description on all the parts of a financial statement that a person can actually read a company's Cash Flows and other documents and be able to understand where a company stands financially. It discusses different indicators and ratios used to make assessments, but it does not get very deep into how to analyze a company based on financial statements. Good reading if you are getting into investing and want to learn the first part of being able to understand whether this company might warrant your money and/or your attention.

Great primer for understanding the accounting basics to company financial statements. Easy to understand and follow. This book provided me the ability to learn how to read the financial statements in annual 10K reports filed with the SEC. I highly recommend this book for those who are learning.

The author strides for a basic explanation while still maintaining depth and he blends these two beautifully. I highly recommend for anyone interested in investing.

The is a refresher for anyone who has been in business and around financial management. Placement of monies, assets, and liabilities in reading the financial reporting sheets for the valuing of companies.

This book provided good insight and a start to further learning Account principles to utilize when analyzing a corporation’s financial reports. This is the third of Mariusz’s books I read. It must be good, because I continue to return. Enjoy.

I loved reading this book, and it explains all the three financial statements in a very simple language that even people without a financial background would be able to understand.. I have read it twice and would give it another shot to remember all the concepts

The basics are not very basic, for someone with very little financial knowledge (90% of the population) we need to be shown why it is not told how it is

My first impression was, that this book is extremely short for the 10€ it costs. And I mean outrageously short. I read through it in 3 hours. Curiously, I learned everything I bought this book for. Its is structured very simply. It contains an example balance sheet, an income statement and a cash flow statement. Then it continues to explain every single number on each of those in a few simple sentences and how they are connected. A few remarks whether certain constellations might indicate a company living on credit or selling out to stay in the competition or having a competitive advantage. And thats it. If all you need is a very accessible explanation of the most important accounting terms and you're willling to pay 10€ to get them fast, this is an extremely good buy.
