Decent torch
This head torch is ideal to keep on hand.It isn't anything fancy. It doesn't come with a storage case/bag, just in a cardboard box. But there is a charging cable included so it's rechargeable and doesn't require you to buy batteries. The lamp is lightweight but a very durable hard plastic. It doesn't cause any discomfort on the head as it barely weighs anything and the soft strap sits between the plastic and the part that sits against your forehead. The strap itself is easily adjustable. It has a lot of stretch and is a thick and soft quality material. There are 6 modes. There are 3 brightness settings for the white lights and a fourth setting where it flashes like a strobe. I have seen brighter lights available so I would only recommend this for dark walks over less wild locations like parks and nature reserves. It may not be bright enough for proper hikes and mountaineering etc. The other two settings involve the red lights. There is a steady light and a flashing light. Not sure what this is for as the flashing isn't morse code for SOS or anything. I suppose you could use the red light if you want something less disruptive to other people.I've had other head torches for a similar price (12.99 at time of order) that have had extra features and better weatherproofing so this is a little overpriced for the features it has. It does have a tilt function which is great when walking on uneven ground so you don't lose your footing though. It is good but you can get better for a similar price.

Ultra light
For running this ultra light head torch is ideal as the light weights only 48g excluding the headband. Total weight 67gFlashing slow green when charging. Solid green when fully charged. Using my own USB cable that shows power used it took 141 minutes from totally flat to full. Charging rate highest at start and appears about 80% of the charge happens in the first 90 minutes. (~3.5W to 0.3W)Highest brightness white the light lasted just over 5 hours, but light output got dimmer towards the endHigh red 15.5h

Funky little headlamp
Does what it needs to.Good brightness for the white and red LEDs.Lightweight and sits comfortably.Only gripe - different buttons to cycle through red or white light options - can only be red or white (not an issue) but I'm guessing design bypass, cost etc to have essentially two different lights in the same unit..Not a massive gripe but may annoy pedants who like design a bit more streamlined.

Comfortable budget rechargeable waterproof head-torch
This is review for the 6 LED model. It has a comfortable adjustable head-band and the lamp unit may be adjusted with four positive clicks to angle down from the horizontal to 45 degrees downwards. One button controls the 3 white LEDs - cycling through bright, dim, dimmer and flashing or long press to off. The other button controls the 3 red LEDs - solid, flashing or long press to off. Like several similar waterproof torches, I find the buttons require a firmer press than is easy, and a fingernail works more effectively, which leaves me wondering how long the membrane will survive. Maybe my fingers and thumbs are too thick. I like the design of this type of torch which does not incorporate a battery compartment at the back of the head, which, in certain head size adjustments positions it further around the skull. Just having the rechargeable battery within the lamp unit is neat and effective.

Cheap and cheerful - but the red light feature adds more bulk than value
This is a perfectly decent little torch, but not for safety-critical usage like mountaineering and hunting as claimed in the copy. With the white light you're getting 3 brightness levels and a strobe. The pool of light is even with no distracting artifacts. They don't give a Lumen level but I'd guesstimate around 700 at its brightest. This is adequate for walking on roads or trails, but is pretty sketchy for route-finding on difficult ground. With the red light you get steady and blink modes, but what would you use them for? I really wouldn't recommend this torch for nighttime map reading in the hills, which is the normal application. But perhaps it could be useful if you had to navigate your way to the loo in a hostel where you didn't want to disturb the other sleepers?Overall it's well enough made, with a decent headband and intuitive controls, while the cover to the charging port seals well and is tethered. But they're only claiming IP65 weatherproofing, so it might let you down in driving rain.TL/DR: this is a decent knockabout torch for the car or the workshop or walking the dog. I wouldn't use it for running because the battery protrudes too far from the forehead and it bounces as you stride. And it's simply not powerful enough or reliable enough for outdoor sports. If you have a use for the red light feature, it's worth considering. If not, it adds bulk and complexity and you'd be best to look elsewhere.
