Got this for my son who has a hard time waking up.. Since buying it, he hasn’t been late to work.. Sound of the alarm is loud and shaking has been perfect way of waking him up.

While the vibration works well it’s not very loud.

I bought this alarm clock to help me wake to get to doctor appointments in the early hours. I am severely hearing impaired and to hear my old alarm clock meant sleeping with at least one hearing aid in my ear. Dangerous for the aid and painful to my ear over time. So I got this alarm clock that touted a loud alarm and a vibrating device. After finally figuring out all the buttons (this could have been done better...that's my only complaint) I got it to fire on the third try. I already knew how bright was the display. I was not prepared for the even brighter flashing, the loud wailing and the vibration. However it did the job. I sat bolt upright and was wide awake. Kudos. If you have a heavy sleeper (such as a teenager or college student) this will do the trick as well.

Easy to follow instructions and large buttons for operation.
