Where can I buy a longer connector for this sensor?

We will ask factory to make it and will tell you later , it will cost about 3-4 weeks

Does this need or should I use a 3.3v to 5v logic level converter?

Applicable voltage range: 4.5-6V. If you use 5V, there is no need converter.

Has anyone adapted this for use under water ? I was thinking if encapsulation in acrylic and seeing if it could distance underwater.

This lidar sensor can not work underwater.
