Installing this unit on my 4.0 engine. did anyone have an issue with the supplied gasket or use rtv instead? should the gasket be wet for the install?

I am not a big fan of rtv and very rarely use it. For this type of gasket I have always used Permatex Super 300 Form-A-Gasket Sealant. Been using this stuff for well over 40 years I'd guess. It's never let me down. Just put a coating of it on both sides of the gasket. Not real heavy, just enough to coat it. It's pretty sticky so it holds the gasket in place pretty good too.

What motor does this fit? 2.5 or 4.0?

It fit's the 4.0. It might fit others, but mine is a 4.0.

Does it come with the screws?

No it only comes with the gasket . But if the screw you have are not damaged they don't need to be replaced

Perfect fit 01’ Jeep Wrangler 4.0L

Great price! So much easier to just install a ew water-neck. You don’t have to razor off any old gaskets or deal with cleaning the hard water off the old one. Everything transferred over perfectly. Had zero issues. Looks good too! Comes with a gasket.
