great security, but a bit too long for women
These are quite interesting, I've never had or seen anything like this before. It's a thick plastic bag with a "spout" that feels like a soft foam of some sort. There is a seal to close it up but it is not zipper style, it's like a regular baggy. Inside is what appears to be paper cloth which I know holds the gel. When fluid hits it, it turns to a solid gel so it doesn't spill out and then you seal it up to be doubly sure of no leaks. My issue, and I will admit that I did not test one out, lol, is the length of it. I'm 5'2" and when I hold the spout up to where it should be, the bag comes down past my knees. I do not know if the bag needs to be hanging to be used or if you could "bend" it a bit and still have it work.I worry about the "bending" of the bag as my biggest concern is having to use this while in a car, so I'd be in a sitting position and not standing up as I would be if I was camping or such. I was in a traffic jam that lasted close to 2 hours and I watched as a woman a few cars ahead of me left her car and dashed for the trees. I felt so bad for her (but grateful there were trees and that we weren't on a bridge) and that was when I told myself it couldn't hurt to have something like this in the car/purse at all times. So I do feel secure having these in my car and I suspect that in an emergency I will figure out if the bag has to be extended fully or not and be assured if need be I will stand in the seat before heading for the trees in front of other people.

Sometimes you just got to go
I drive for Uber and late at night finding a bathroom can be quite a challenge. Especially when all the gas stations are closed and the ones that are open they're both bathrooms are always out of order. So I carry these for those times where I just can't make it. And also I use them for throw up bags. They serve two purposes if you're an Uber driver you need to get some of these and keep them in your car. May save you clean up on aisle 3

Individually wrapped in compact zip bag
The most impressive feature of these bags is the zip seal closure which ensures that the liquid will be captured by the absorbent pad found in each bag. Some on the market don't provide that type of seal, and I was happy to find that these do. With the option of using these for various situations (urine or vomit), and the adaptability for use by either gender, these bags will be handy to have in either a glove compartment, camper, boat, or other recreation vehicle. I was slightly disappointed with the top opening of the bags. While it is contoured to adapt to the various uses, the melded shield portion is a somewhat soft foam. In order to ensure a most secure fit, I was hoping for something slightly more rigid. While this certainly doesn't negate the usefulness of the product, it doesn't offer quite the secure feel desired to guarantee that any type of leaking is prevented--no matter how slight. Even with this minor design shortcoming, I'm going to add these to the boat supplies for this summer's adventures. Overall, these should provide the benefit of alleviating one of the obstacles found in outdoor adventures. 4 stars.

Great item to have in vehicles for emergencies.
This is a great product to keep in the car for emergencies. You get six individually packaged bags so you can keep them in various places. They have a contoured foam mouth that helps in getting everything in the bag. They may be a little difficult to use in a sitting position but better than having nothing. There is an absorbent pad inside that absorbs the liquid. Once filled, you can close a Ziploc type zipper to seal securely until you can dispose of in the trash. They would also work well for vomit bags if car sick. Pleased and would recommend these.

seems to be as advertised
I ordered these for a family member who is going through some medical things and has a hard time walking to the restroom, and they have been a success thus far. The fact that there is a gel like substance inside that when the liquid hits it solidifies for easy disposal is the big selling point here for avoiding messes.Bags can seal up and are really pretty good.

Works Great If You Hold It The Correct Way
I didn't want to wait for an emergency because in an emergency I likely won't have time to read the directions. As it turned out I didn't understand the directions well enough and used it backwards. It still almost works perfectly if you put the wrong end facing the front but I wanted to simulate a near bathroom emergency and held it with the front facing the back. Oops. The image on the bag does correctly show that for women, the wider end faces behind you.But it phrases it as "the higher part of the mouth facing UP".What this really means is the higher part of the bag facing the BACK or behind you. This is because the "higher part" is WIDER when you fully open the bag so you don't spill anything.Thankfully I tried this in the washroom at the toilet so the tiny bit that missed the bag landed where urine should land in the washroom - in the toilet. I TRUST that this will work perfectly for me in an emergency after I saw how wide the BACK of this bag opens, I had the front, much narrower part facing behind me and it still almost worked flawlessly. It's cute that it comes with a little blue plastic apron to wrap around yourself.I could see that being useful if you didn't have all the privacy you needed but still needed to use this. This is made of a thick but really flexible plasticIt has a ziplock top that is very easy to close. The absorbant material that sits loosely in the bag didn't soak up everything immediately but there was no fear of this spilling.I expected the inside to have a substance that immediately turned into a gel.The absorbant cloth in the bag works just fine though and the bag seals tightly. It's small enough for me to carry one in my purse for travel emergencies but I feel like just having it with me will give me enough peace of mind to know I can survive any long delays that may crop up.I was once stuck in a line crossing the border for 3 hours and I would have gladly used the silly little apron and this plastic urinal in my car if I had one to use. I didn't dare get out of my vehicle and risk any kind of public indecency charge. Thankfully I made it but it was a very long three hours.Currently I have some in the car in case of emergency car sickness and one in my purse just in case and more in the bedrooms in case of sickness or migraines that come with vomiting.I'll definitely bring one with me on flights as well because those little paper bags are ridiculous.I see the benefit to having this while camping too. You could use it in the tent safely and seal it and dispose of it with the rest of the garbage. There is no odour once it is sealed. This was easier than I expected it to be to use.Tons of value for the price even if it's just for peace of mind but if you do need to use it, it's practically priceless.

Always need one within reach.
We have all been caught up in instances where we need to urinate but circumstances are not in our favor. Two instances that come in to mind: caught in heavy traffic, and waking up in the middle of the night camping in the cold. This product came in 24 pouches individually packed. It looks well made. The material used is plastic. It’s a pouch with a spout, ziplock closure, with absorbent cloth/material inside. It’s a diaper pouch. It can hold up to 1000 ml of fluid per ad (900 ml on the print on the bag), which is more than enough for a full bladder. The words used with the instructions are not clear. They should have stuck with simple words, or concentrated more with the illustrations. Suffice to say, even if using this the wrong way, it still works. Although it favors male more than female.I tried it and it works. I was thinking if it can be used twice. I filled it up with 500 ml. In a few seconds it started forming a gel (similar to diapers). After an hour i tried adding another 500 ml. It still turned in to a gel. In reality, a second void might overflow the pouch so i guess this would be good for single use.It seals the contents well. Just like a ziplock bag. No worries of the contents spilling. One thing that i didn’t like about it is that it never said anything about being biodegradable. So this ends up somewhere on a landfill. But given the usefulness and how frequent you will be needing this, i guess it outweighs the former.Overall, i like it. Numerous times i had to do my business outside the cold when camping. I would bring an empty bottle with me bur the opening is small. This solves that. Will be bringing a couple with me for emergency.

Worked Well, Easy To Dispose Of After, No Leaks.
I’ve got a few of these urinal/ throw up bags stashed in my backpack and in my glove compartment and they’ve given me and my family some laughs and comfort of mind. I tested one out at home, and it was awkward but doable, just gotta be careful with how slippery the plastic portion of the bag can be, I held it by the collar with a bit of a death grip as it filled up but it didn’t slip or slide in my hand. Afterwards I zipped it and myself up and it didn’t leak anywhere. If you have a few these in your car or bag, I’d carry a little bundle of disposable tissues for cleanup after as a tip. I haven’t tested it out with vomit, but I’m guessing it’ll do about the same. Definitely useful and glad I got these for those “gotta go” situations we randomly get into.
