I have just been bought my Kindle my my husband and went to buy a John grisham book but accidentally bought Mr Graham book. So glad I did it was a fabulous read I have read three already. Loved it loved it. X

In the very beginning Joshua has out did himself. I cant think of a better author than this man. Sure, you can scare me with your Steven King, maybe, but his powers are weak. Dean Koontz - who? Dan Brown has perverted Hollywood fantasies about Tom Hanks. And the list goes on and on. I wanted a fresh take on story telling and Joshua put it out there and delivered.I download all his books and am reading them all. He doesnt come up short in his writing skills. Its fresh every time, all the time. He's inspirational, friendly on his fan website and an all around good guy. Praises go out for Mr. Joshua Graham. Hallelujah.I completed all three of his novels Beyond Justice, Terminus and Darkroom. Joshua, i can say this about your books as i continue to read them. Mental meat! I'm happy you lost your job 2008. Clearly, this is the area where one your many talents and calling truly lies.

The book opens with action and does not stop til the end. After reading a few chapters, I put the book down for several weeks. Because it is written from the viewpoint of several different characters, When I started to the book again, after the short lapse in time, I didn't remember what the story line was for each of the characters in the chapters I had already read. This required my going back and scanning the book from the beginning. I found using the Kindel version to read the book made going back to various passages more difficult than with a hardback book. Once I was familiar with all of the characters, I no longer had this problem. Additionally, I was annoyed by going back in time to the seventies and then in the next chapter returning to present.Darkroom was exciting and a good read. I really appreciated a thriller void of expletives and sex. If you want an exciting read without graphic sex and bad language, Darkroom is excellent.

I bought this book on my kindle at the last minute before a 6 hour plane flight. I did not put it down during the flight and the time flew. I had never read Joshua Graham but subsequently have bought another of his books. This book has a Christian slant which I did not know existed for murder mysteries. This combination sees contradictory but as a Christian who loves murder mysteries it was a perfect fit. The book was not a preaching book, but used some of the ideals of Christianity in the miraculous solution of the mystery. This book also brought in some history which I liked. Although set in modern days, it refers back to the Vietnam Nam war era. Well worth the read!

I have read Joshua Graham's work before, so I intentionally did NOT start this book until I had a few hours to devote to it, as I knew I was not going to be able to put it down. I was entirely correct! This story captivated me from the first paragraph, and had me holding my breath, repeatedly, through to the very last...with a teaser for the next in this series! Exhilaratingly fast-paced, heart-stopping action and adventure, with a fabulous message of faith and hope. The characters are believable, the story mesmerizing and the historical references fascinating. I can not wait to see what ride Mr.Graham has in store for us next!

I am so glad I've discovered this author. The books I've read have all been page turners as well inspirational. Mr. Graham very subtly shares his faith in all of the books he's written that I have read. I highly recommend anything this man writes. I look forward to my next one.

I was very impressed with the premise of this novel,especially in light of all the scandals & questions in today's political world....having some knowledge of how politics works,this plot could very easily be true...except for the fact that the American people would never know the truth...that part of this novel is true fiction...I hope Mr. Graham suffers no repercussions for this novel because I am certain he has stepped on some very powerful toes....

This story is intense and Joshua's use of flashback was essential for the plot as well as a momentary respite from plot tension that I would have had to break away from anyway. I'm a huge fan of Dekker and Peretti, among a few others; but Joshua accomplishes tight, tense thrillers without the gore while weaving a Deeply spiritual and supernatural story. Read anything he writes! He's not constrained by the typical western mindset.

I read the later books first so there weren't many surprises. Still a great read, in spite of already knowing the outcome.

Weird

Loved this. Makes you think of things in life and if you had a camera that showed things you could not see. It was riveting. Loved the action and the going back to a different time. Daughter and Dad and things never discussed. So much of life wasted thinking one is protecting one that you really hurt by not sharing. So was intense and keep you on the edge. Loved loved it.

This was suspense, edge of your seat and emotionally heart wrenchingly beautiful. I know that doesn't seem to go together, but it captures the longing and search for God in some of the characters and the total acceptance of God in unexpected ones. Beautifully and powerfully written; it captures emotions and brings the harshness of reality so vividly to your mind, you keep it with you long after you finish. Don't pass this one up!One of the best for Joshua Graham!

Darkroom was an excellent book! I could not put it down and it kept me guessing right up until the end! I would recommend it highly to anyone who loves mystery, suspense or just a plain old good story! It would make an excellent movie! I look forward to more books by Joshua Graham!

This book had nice pace and an interesting plot, but a bit overwritten, and there were some flaws of logic or facts that made it hard to suspend disbelief at times. Ultimately, not sure who the protagonist was supposed to be. Oh, and LTCs don't command infantry companies. That kind of error shows either faulty research or unfamiliarity with the chosen subject matter.

Graham 's novel, Darkroom, is a true page turner. It grabs the reader up bit by bit pulling them to a cohesive binding of all. Truly enjoyable read that paints pictures graphically in the mind. I strongly recommend this book to those that enjoy action adventure and suspense.
