Very easy to use. Save audio files on the recorder or the included mini sd card. Easy to transfer files with the card to my computer.I use a public meetings.

I like that is small and I also bought a case for it. It works great by itself but the microphone is not very loud unless I still haven’t figured that out yet but all in all I like it a lot. It’s helpful to have while I’m out and things hit my mind for my novel and when I can’t stop to write I just grab and record for later on.

I've utilized this several times for freelance videography interview work. The recorder is simple to use. Files are a little complicated to locate on the device itself at first, but aren't impossible to find once you get used to the user interface set up.Audio is clear, although a little tinny at times. The included lapel mic and earbuds are of a surprisingly good quality. Overall it is simple to use and has good quality for a great price.

I bought this device primarily to facilitate recording from the headphone outputs on my laptop, portable TV, cell phone, and other devices. For this reason, I needed a mic or line level input that would be compatible with a wide range of signal levels. This unit not only allows you to select "line level" when you plug a cable into the "mic" input, it further allows you to set any of seven different recording levels and verify them visually while recording. Perfect. An added bonus is that the device adds "LIN" to the audio file name to indicate that it was recorded using a "line level" source instead of a microphone.I'm impressed overall with the quality of the recorder and some of its features. (Many of the features are nice, but not useful to me personally.) Here are a few positive comments:1. The USB interface with my laptops is quick and reliable. File transfer speeds are good, but not great. (The device must be OFF when you connect it or it will not be recognized by the laptop.)2. The included 64GB TF card is a nice bonus and works fine.3. You can select from four compression levels for MP3 encoding and four levels for WAV encoding. At least one of them is bound to be perfect for your needs.4. AVR has adjustable sensitivity and it works fine, but I have no need for it myself.5. The internal mics work well for most applications, but performance really improves if you use a decent external mic. I tried one of my Sony stereo lavaliere mics (about $30) and the result was very, very good for recording personal conversations and meetings. Again, this is not my primary use for the recorder, so your opinion may differ.As other reviewers have commented, the instructions that come with this unit are a cut above most that come with foreign-manufactured products. This is a good thing, because the recorder has quite a few features that are not obvious at first glance.TL;DR: If you need to record what's coming from a headphone jack, this is a great product to do that. It even comes with the 1/8" stereo cable you commonly need to do this.

It feels somewhat cheap. It is small and does the job of recording. The menus could be easier. I've struggled getting files from the internal drive to my computer.

Sound quality is a big improvement over my previous device. The interface is easy to read. It is very quick to boot up. Noise elimination is great. I use for voice overs for my YouTube channel. The lav mic is a big convenience. Reasonable price and quality.

I wanted to use the recorder to take quick notes and record reminders. The sluggishness of performance made the recorder inconvenient to use. When I hit record, I expected the device to begin recording immediately. Actually, it takes about 5 seconds for recording to begin. If I have a thought, an idea, or a reminder, I want to record it *right now* not seconds later.Sound quality is good but not excellent; certainly adequate for voice recordings.

I bought this for my husband so he can capture his thoughts as he writes his book so he doesn’t forget the thoughts that come to his mind while doing other tasks. He truly appreciated this gift. This is a nice quality recorder. I recommend it.
