I have been looking for a kaftan for some time and was pleased to find this one. The material is comfortable and attractive. Based on other reviews that said this item runs small, I ordered one size larger than I would normally take, and I'm glad I did. Even after some shrinkage with washing (cold water and drying on low heat) I am finding this fits well. I will order more so I have a rotation.

I purchased this Thobe for my husband who is 6'4, on the picture it looks long but when he tried it on, it was not. The picture should also show the two slits on the sides of the Thobe, but it does not. It was different than what he normally wears but he likes it. I went ahead and purchased two, one arrived before the other, and the item was already out for delivery so I could not cancel the order. If he does not keep the other one, we will give it away. InshaAllah

While visiting a friend who had travelled to Egypt quite a bit, I got to wear a similar garment he had brought back. I've always loved the look and feel of it. I found this one to be comfortable and a great value for the price that I paid. It does have slits which the photo doesn't indicate. However, I'm glad it does. It makes walking and sitting more freeing. The material is a rough cotton - not too heavy or light. The rust color is nice. I'll be ordering another one.
