Marine spotlight?
I didn't get past the cover of the instruction book. It says this is for DRY use only. I noticed that there is a lot of water around my boat. And it splashes up some times when I hit a wave. And it can rain some times. So I have no idea why this is being sold as a marine spotlight. Sent it back.

Cheap "made in China" junk!
I bought Brinkmann because I wanted to buy from an American company. Had I know this was a made in China piece of junk I never would have bought it. Very cheaply made. Cheap, brittle plastic. NOT the Brinkmann Q-Beam from years ago. So sad to find you can't find quality products anymore.

Junk
Terrible quality. The cord literally just came apart at the base of the spotlight. It was super bright relatively lightweight. I didn't care much for the on/off switch but it wasn't something I couldn't deal with. Then the cord issue. I had only used it about a week with the 4 wheeler checking cows. So frustrating trying to find a good quality spotlight that actually works.

Melted on first use.
First use, plug melted. Bought to use on the boat for night trips in the channel on the way home, 4 minutes into its first use, the plug literally melted inside my 12v outlet. Not only am I without a light, but now I have to repair the destroyed 12V outlet. Pretty unfortunate.

Dont buy the "used".
Got the cheaper " used unit. It was trash. Internal switch wires cut, bulb hanging out through lens. Bulb lock ring was missing. This " used "unit was never inspected & recycled back out when it should have been trashed. I REordered a NEW unit & sent this trash back. Ive had these before. Good units except for cheap on/ off undependable switch. I replaced that switch with a standard toggle switch years ago on the very first unit of this kind back when they first came out. No problems w new toggle switch. Hopefully the newer switchs are better. Will see when new unit arrives.

Works well for a boat spotlight
I am using this spotlight to aid with navigation at night on my boat. I originally bought it as a backup, but I am now using it as my primary spotlight. My main spotlight died one moonless night and I had to go to this spotlight. To my surprise, this light was noticeably brighter and had a better beam than the spotlight it was replacing that was four times as expensive. Could not be happier. It has held up well through fairly frequent usage and has retained its brightness.

These are the Very Best!
These are the best! I've owned this brand for years, and will continue buying it. They last forever. My last one was 15 years old and only broke because my idiot boyfriend left it out side on his boat

Typical Cheap Chinese
Misleading by the “3 million” statement. This is not 3 million candlepower. It’s your typical spotlight, except it has a cheesy switch on it instead of the old school trigger style. Also, short cord... 2 feet? It works, but I don’t see the switch lasting very long. I recommend buying something else.
