This desk mount rig turned my workspace into something NASA would envy. It’s holding up my mic, lights, monitors, and maybe even my will to live. Setup was easier than convincing yourself you needed all this gear in the first place. It’s sturdy, flexible, and has more adjustment options than a chiropractor. No more balancing lights on a stack of books or trying to tape your mic to the wall; this beast keeps everything organized and professional-looking. Honestly, it’s not just a mount; it’s a lifestyle upgrade. If you want your setup to scream “I mean business,” this is the way to go.

It's a sturdy unit, but note that it's only as sturdy as the desk you clamp it to (ie a wobbly desk will lead to a shakey camera if you are writing on or typing on the desk). The locking mechanisms for each arm are very solid. Overall it's a great basic solution to those frankenrigs that DSLShooter makes. I went, laptop holder, ring light (with camera in center), camera with teleprompter, and mevo shotgun mic. All running into black magic mini pro iso. It would be nice to have one more overhead arm for an overhead camera for 'unboxing shots'.

This mount has been in place for many months now. It is very sturdy and of good quality. There are a couple plastic spacers that cracked, which was disappointing, but overall its a good product. The main support pole holds the arms and equipment easily without bending or moving. The arms move very smoothly and are easy to adjust, definitely a good buy.

This thing is heavy duty, wouldn't recommend for thin plywood or particle board desks. I put wood under mine for a little more strength. Arms are completely adjustable in how you want your setup. This is an amazing stand. Nothing plastic about this. All rotating and extension joints are metal, bars are metal. It's heavy but it's stable which is more than i can say about 99% of these

Why didn’t I come across this before!? I used to have tripods for everything you see here, it was a nightmare. The best part is that it’s pretty sturdy even on a thin desk on wheels. I didn’t care for the mic arm so that’ll just be stored away but I HIGHLY recommend this rig 100% (I bought 2 smaller attachments for my lights)

Overall I've been happy with it 1.5 years in. But as others mentioned, the plastic washers/spacers connecting the arms to the mounts have cracked into several pieces. I'm in search of replacements. I'm going to home depot with the help of Gemini to find something in the hardware/plumbing section to replace: "For the Flat Washer: Look in the specialty fastener drawers for a 1" OD x 3/4" ID Nylon Washer (usually costs about $0.50). For the Conical Washer: Head over to the plumbing aisle and look at the Beveled Faucet Washers or Ballcock Washers. These are dense, tapered rubber/polyurethane rings meant to take heavy compression without cracking, and they slide right onto standard joints beautifully." LMK details if you have done a repair. I've tried a few different setups (including others from NEEWER) to perfect top-down photo/video taking. This is the first one I've tried that I feel comfortable attaching my DSLR to. The arms offer a good amount of support, and are very positionable into whatever angle you want. Then it comes with a bunch of different attachments for other purposes. I don't have use for the mic-stand attachment, but the other arms have been useful for attaching a monitor for hooking up to the hdmi out of my camera, and a light that I can position into whatever angle feels best for the shot. Super happy with this purchase. --- 6 month update: One of the arms has a plastic washer that just broke off. There wasn't an excessive amount of weight on it (just a dslr, as designed). It didn't even get moved much in the last 6 months, so very surprised to see this broken. The arm does seem to still support things without wobble even with half that washer missing, so at least that part is designed well.

Every thing was great except for the part in the photo, I could not attach that arm because it kept getting stuck at the top. Must be faulty dimensions. Once I attach it to the arm it’s fine but soon as I try to slide it down the clamp it gets stuck at the top. Otherwise, great product, easy to follow instructions

This is a very well-constructed and cleverly designed stand. It is incredibly versatile and in certain situations works very well. Similar to an octopus, with its numerous arms, I appreciate its robust nature, especially when my laptop is attached and extended. When using several things simultaneously, which is so handy, particularly if you require flexibility because of the changing nature of what you're doing. You can also Just use one or two of the arms, so it looks more minimalistic. In this way, it's a very versatile solid arm that be used for only one device, or several things at once. The matte black finish is beautiful.
