Cons: Difficult to see very minuscule diagrams, directions are very ambiguous, and when using the adjustable way, the grasp bar is very unstable (unsafe), difficulty to get pipes in correctly unless you are very strong. Pros: nice non adjustable step and handgrip is more stable. I am returning it as I don't feel it is safe for the individual I purchased it for.

Makes climbing into bed so much easier, plus I can turn around on it without fear of falling.

This is a great step stool. I just got out of the hospital and this helps me step up to get into bed. It has a handle so I can carry to use in different places It helps me step into my shower. It's nice that it is adjustable.

I ordered this to replace and/or back up a similar step that we've had for over a year. A couple of the features that we like about this one are the fact the flat step part itself is larger than the one we've had, and the height of the step is adjustable. While the support handle on our old step does feel just a little more sturdy, this one is fine. We've learned that the support handle should only be used after you've put most of your weight on the step, and that the handle is primarily for balance rather than supporting your entire weight. Since we've already used a similar step for over a year, we're fine with what we view as "constraints" on the use of this handle.The step does seem to be a little pricey; however, we've come to depend on them pretty heavily.
