My pi 5 fits perfectly into the case and so far I’ve noticed very good temps overall during use. The case feels premium and good quality and is by far my new favorite Pi case I have tried out.

These cases are perfect unless you’re adding a HAT+ connection. Argon makes quality stuff and the heat dissolution and the fan is great at keeping it within the recommended temperature range. The fit and functionality of this case and ability to extend the bottom with an NVME extension (the second unit is the same case with the extension) and is what makes this case more unique than the ones you can’t modify without getting a new case. Slick, cool, and sturdy. What more can you ask from a case? Need to add nvme ssd? NO PROBLEM. Argon sell the nvme base for this case cheap.

Stress tested the Pi 5 and it routinely runs at less than or equal to 54 degrees C whereas the previous base I had would run at 60+ degrees Celsius. Sleek design, easy set up.

Pros: Very sleek design. Feels sturdy and I can tell it's going to protect the internals. The aluminum case feels good to the touch. If you set it up and don't really tinker too much with your Raspberry Pi, this is the perfect case. Cons: if you tinker with your Raspberry Pi a lot, unscrewing the cover and screwing it back on every time just to access the GPIO pins will get annoying after a while. Similarly, the SD cover requires another (smaller) screwdriver to remove, so if you have multiple OS's and like to swap out cards, you can leave it off and put it somewhere safe. While we are at the subject of the SD card, its a bit difficult to remove, as it is pretty snug against the case. These are personal preferences and you might not find them as annoying. The reason I knocked off one star is because two of the GPIO pins are mislabeled. Board pin 21 is supposed to be GPIO 9, but it is labeled as 6. Similarly, board pin 31 is supposed to be GPIO 6 but it is labeled as 9. I only found out after debugging a small (personal) project for about an hour and on the verge of giving up on GPIO 6 on my Pi. I actually bought both the NVMe and non-NVMe version, but will be returning the NVMe version just for this reason. I like the case enough to keep the non-NMVe that is posted in the pictures, but not enough to have two of them that have the wrong labeling, especially if one model is pricier. Also, please note that the case doesn't come with a sticker.

Great raspberry pi 5 case, I keep it running 24/7 and the passive cooling is pretty nice, the cost is pretty good for what it offer, I wish there was an hdmi port like the other argo case but it’s a good deal

Easy to set up. Fan seems to work well enough on my kiosk deployment. Build quality is decent and power button light isn’t too bright. It does have a plastic bottom and a metal top so that might be deal breaker for some.

Great quality , premium case for raspberry 5. Not only quality built but also great performance keep raspberry cool all time . Good value for price!

Provata da mesi , mettendo sotto stress la pi 5 , la ventola parte solo se si superano i 50 gradi . Grazie al case rutto in alluminio le temperature non hanno mai superato i 55 gradi , solo in casi di forte stress , es emulazione Psvita oppure Dreamcast o naomi e sega Saturn . Molto compatta e semplice da montare .

Das Gehäuse ist sehr gut verarbeitet, zudem lässt sich der Pi einfach und sicher einbauen. Der Lüfter ist sehr leise und ist mir bisher nicht aufgefallen. Weder im "Leerlauf" noch wenn Filme in KODi abgespielt werden.

Dieses Gehäuse ist eines der besten, wenn nicht sogar das beste, Aluminumgehäuse für den Raspberry Pi 5. Gut über diese Aussage lässt sich nun streiten. Denn es hängt natürlich immer davon ab, welchem Zweck/Einsatzzweck das Gehäuse genügen muss. Ohne Temperaturbenchmarks gemacht zu haben, kann ich sagen. dass bisher das Gehäuse den PI ausreichend gut kühlt und einen sehr soliden Eindruck macht. Auch die Optik ist super, wenn man den PI auf dem Schreibtisch stehen hat. Die Anschlüsse sind durch das Gehäuse sehr gut zugänglich. Auch der Power On Button lässt isch von Außen betätigen. Wenn der abnehmbare, und durch Schrauben gehaltene Deckel abgenommen wird, kommt man ausreichend gut an den Header um Kabel anzustecken. Die Kabel lassen sich durch seitliche Schlitze nach außen führen, wenn der Deckel zugemacht werden soll, dies ist jedoch etwas umständlich aber O.K.. Für mich gibt es an diesem Gehäuse nur ein einziges Manko. Der Deckel, lässt sich leider nur mit zwei Schrauben befestigen und man benötigt jedes mal einen Schraubendreher, wenn man diesen öffnen möchte. Es wäre schön wenn dieser Deckel zusätzlich mittels Magneten halten würde (siehe Vorgängermodell für Raspberry Pi 4), sodass die Schrauben nur für den Fall, dass das Gehäuse sehr stabil oder länger verschlossen werden soll benötigt werden. Als letzte Anmerkung: Das Gehäuse ist nicht komplett aus Aluminium, der Boden (rot) ist aus Kunststoff, sodass es zu keinen Kurzschlüssen kommen kann.
