I purchased this item for myself and very much enjoy it. The motor is fairly large: the size of my hand from wrist to longest finger tip. Seems solid, not fragile or easily breakable. As I have a cat whose purpose in life is to knock things over and enjoy the crashing sound they make, this durability is important to me. It is a little loud, but I love "white noise" and its kind of like that.It is easy to clean (although I find it a little difficult to totally clear it of whatever scent I used last... for example if I used orange/lemon then, next time, use lavendar, I still kind of smell the citrus a little).It provides enough strong scent for my bedroom and scents the rest of my apartment very faintly. I fill the well about 1/4- 1/2 way and can't burn through it all in one sitting, as that is too much scent... so I will burn that amount down in 2-3 sessions.When I received the unit the motor looked like it might have been used. It seemed to have a little wear on it. I contacted the company to ask if it was possible that I had received a used unit by mistake. They said no, but immediately sent me a new motor (they didn't wait for me to mail them the one I had first) and the prepaid shipping for me to send back the other motor. I was very pleased with this customer service. Fast, friendly, and hassle free. :) I would definitely recommend this diffuser.

Wonderful product. I am a repeat customer over 10 year period and I would not buy a diffuser from any other company. I replaced this diffuser when I lost it during a major move. When I first bought it it was twice the price and the top of the line model. It's a tried and true workhorse. You cannot compare anything in that price range to it. Just buy this one.

Love this product. I didn't know this product existed and was using regular diffusers that require added H2O. This is the perfect way to diffuse the essential oils without adding humidity to the indoor air. Thank you, this is amazing Amazon.
