Acer USB C Hub, 7IN1 USB-C to 4K HDMI, 2×USB 3.0, USBC 5Gbps, 100W, SD/TF

I got this to allow my 2018 MBP to use HDMI to my new monitor, while still enabling me to use the same USB-C port for power, since I'm using the other 3 for HDDs. Works like a charm! Perfect. Looks & feels great too, speaking to the quality of it. Can't speak for longevity, but hey, what's to go wrong? Sits very neatly on the lid of my MBP, where I've used hook & loop (like Velcro but better) dots to stick it on, so keep it neat, while still being able to remove it if necessary. 100% recommend this.

Bought this for my MacBook Air - as it only has two ports, this hub is great for not overloading the machine is adapter cables, etc. Works really well, but let down by a lead that is a bit too short. If like me you have the laptop raised up for working, then the hub ends up 'floating' by the side of the machine.

Brilliant little device to have at home or take on the go, compact yet never disconnects!

Before purchasing this I did a bit of research and noticed that lots of this type of dock tends to suffer very similar problems. One product however seemed to avoid this issue and that was this Acer dock. Having purchased it I have to say I am extremely happy. When I opened the box my immediate impression was that this is a quality product. Even though it is quite slim it still manages to retains a nice "weight". When handled it gives the perception of being solid and well built. For example, the cable is not thin and the plastic feels strong. I am using on my MacBook Air and have no problems using any of the ports. All-in-all, this is a great dock and lives up to the Acer branding it carries.

Can do everything on Android, might have to add to the home screen certain apps you need. With the iOS you'd have to pre-prepare and even then, the password bit stymies you. You can see everything on the apple home screen so it's the iOS that doesn’t cooperate or maybe it's me who doesn't know Apple enough? I made sure I had a good power feed to the hub and it worked great video wise on both operating systems. I'm glad I've purchased this item.

Bought to allow charging to my iPad whilst carrying to Premier Inn TV's. Works as expected.

I’ve only had it a few months and it simply stopped charging my laptop! I connect it and nothing works! So not recommend!

This hub is great! If you have a Mac Air or Pro you will be painfully aware of the lack of ports! This is a simple answer. Recommended!

The Acer hub is an impressive, quality made product. I purchased it as a matching accessory to my new Acer laptop. The price may be a few dollars more than the generic hubs I've previously purchased but it's well worth it. I've attached a photo of the hub out of the box next to my 14" screen laptop.
