Review: Great book to introduce who milk belongs to - Finally, a book that explains pretty simply that milk belongs to the child of the person who gave the milk! The pictures are simple. The words are repetitive. The message is clear. A great introduction for little ones to the science of milk production and compassion. Can be used from birth as the pictures are fun and the story itself is short. My 2.5 yr old loves looking at this one and gets excited when we get to the human page and the baby is breastfeeding. Something we just dont see often enough. Also a good one for planting the seed of a plant based diet/vegan for children

Finally, a book that explains pretty simply that milk belongs to the child of the person who gave the milk! The pictures are simple. The words are repetitive. The message is clear. A great introduction for little ones to the science of milk production and compassion. Can be used from birth as the pictures are fun and the story itself is short. My 2.5 yr old loves looking at this one and gets excited when we get to the human page and the baby is breastfeeding. Something we just dont see often enough. My 10 month old absolutely loves this book. We read it every night before bed, he gets upset if I try to read him anything else! He smiles and gets excited when he sees the picture of the baby breastfeeding. It's a lovely, well illustrated book.
