Betus 11x14 White Picture Mats, Acid Free, 1/16 Inches Thickness, White Core Bevel Cut Frame Mattes for 8x10 Pictures - Pack of 10

I ordered the picture mats for my 5x7 photos that I was packaging for sale. The 4.9x6.9" opening did not provide quite enough overlap with the 5x7" photos to make it easy to mount them. Trying to get the photos centered so that the mat covered all 4 sides was challenging and took several attempts for each photo. An opening of 4.75 x 6.75" opening would have provided a 1/8th inch overlap per side, rather than 1/20th inch overlap per side as these do. The mat board itself is on the thin side, but very acceptable for what I needed. The stack of mats arrived with a curve in it and needed gentle bending in the opposite direction to get them to lay flat. I will look for a different brand that is cut slightly smaller next time.

The mats arrived quickly, but are bent (see photos attached) and are two-tone. I ordered white mats, but these mats are white on the front and cream on the back. It would not be a problem except that the bevel edge is cream, not white with a white front. It looks odd. I am returning them.

These are really nice. They were true to size and fit my frames perfectly. They are really thick and are good quality. I read in some of the other reviews that they weren't bright white but more of a cream color. I actually liked that about them and preferred it. It went better with frames and over all look and theme. I would definitely recommend these.

So far these have worked wonderfully, I used them as a replacement for the cheap ones that come with the frames.I also wanted and acid free one since it would be housing acrylic paintings and not pictures.It looks good, and helps keep a little barrier between the painting and the glass.They are also really thick so you'll need enough room in the frame, becausenof this I had to trim the sides of them but only by like a centimeter so I didnt feel it was worth removing a star for.I also got a lot more than I actually needed in this package and would suggest maybe making a smaller buy option? But at least now I have more for when I get more paintingsThe idea is to get a painting for every country I visit!All around great framing options for paintings and photographs.

I typically use a different brand but was in a pinch and decided to get these. They are curved, yellow on the inside and poorly cut. There are many frayed edges that do not give a professional appearance. Not to mention every 10 frames are inside of plastic and in another plastic bag, lots of plastic waste with these. I am not a fan.

They were all warped and will not straighten when sitting under heavy items. I am hoping the frame will straighten them. Also the opening is almost exactly 5×7...very hard to Matt with a sliver opening no matter how many times you try. I will not buy these again

The opening on a standard 5x7 mat should be a quarter-inch smaller on the sides to allow for some overlap. So these must be a practical joke: the openings are cut to exactly 5x7, so that a 5x7 photo...falls through the hole. Some steady-handed taping let me situate my photos so there are aaaaaaalmost no gaps. But it was an unnecessary hassle (one I had to deal with because the framed photos were a gift, and I didn’t have time to source some new mats). Would recommend getting your mats elsewhere.

The mats came to me with a pronounced curve in all of them. I tried wetting the back and compressing one of them overnight. That seemed to work, but now, three hours later, the curve has returned. I would not buy these again.

I was afraid they would be cream colour but they are perfectly white. Although they were in a bubble wrap envelope, they were warped. I had to put them flat and put weight on they to get them flat. They are still not flat but I will use them and see if they straighten out once in the frame. Care should be taken when shipping them.

Might be used for 6x8s... but hole is too big for 5x7s . Not beveled inside edges. Not what I wanted.Can't return 🤨😒 not happy with these. Very cheaply made .Wasted money!

These picture mats arrived three days later than estimate but I'm happy with the quality at this price point. Not protected that well in the packaging which was just bubble envelopes however they arrived without damage.

It is what it is and does the job. A few of them were unusable however, they had deep indents/marks on them. So about 3 or 4 out of the 10 were garbage. They also had a slight bend to them. I will however continue to buy them because of the price. The 6 out of 10 are worth the price, and the slight bend won't be noticed when put in a frame.

Colour is white, not cream, thank goodness. Sturdy, not too thin or flimsy. Arrived bent. Have a slightly nasty chemical smell. Outside dimensions are true 11" x 14". Opening dimensions are about 7.5" x 9.5". Wished they were closer to 8" x 10" as the things I want to frame will be too cropped for my liking.
