Zealandia Honey Gold Label Mgo550+, 250gm

I was quite hesitant to buy this product, I mean, it's honey, and very expensive honey at that, but upon receiving the little jar, I have to say, I think I'm happy with the purchase.I cannot compare this to any other brand of manuka honey as this is the only one I have ever bought, but from what I can tell after using it a few times, it is very good quality, and it comes at a relatively low price, I mean, it's like half the price of many other brands of manuka honey. The honey is very thick, it actually sticks to a spoon even after you lick/suck on it, so in that regard, I would say it's almost like peanut butter, but of course, it is a liquid, just very viscous. I'm not sure if it's a colloid, but it is slightly gritty, yet still has a nice texture. But perhaps most importantly, it tastes good, really good, it's sweet and has a deep, rich flavor, but not overpowering, without a hint of bitterness, and I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even like the taste of honey,I bought it for its medicinal/antibacterial qualities, particularly for my skin as I have been dealing with some pretty bad acne breakouts recently, even as I write this actually, but its also supposed to help with digestive issues and fatigue, other things I suffer with on a regular basis.Whether it works to help heal my skin and prevent further breakouts, I cannot say, it's too soon to tell, but I do like how it feels, it's basically like a thick salve, and it doesn't appear to irritate my skin at all, and I have very sensitive skin, it even smells good, a very mild scent of honey. I also like it in both my matcha and chamomile tea, it adds a layer of depth, and a little goes a long way.Well, that's more than I thought I would ever say about honey, but my bottom line is that this honey is really good, something really quite different from "regular" honey, in both taste and texture, and I would buy it again if I were looking to get more manuka honey.P.S.
