QuickBayt Fly Bait, 5 lbs.

elanco quickbayt fly bait, AZ have lots of flies in our golf community with lots of ponds, at times the flies get unbearable. i placed a small dish of this stuff in the are with most amount of flies went back a day later to see no mor flying flys and dead flys scattered on the ground, i started sprinkling some in my bulk trash cans the city empties weekly as the flies love to get into the dog trash and dog poop, i found this kills all the flys that get into the trash, i have no more flys flying around or in my trash cans outside, i will buy again, not cheap but great value it works good, i have tried any things over the years most products just seem to attract more flys then they kill, this does not appear to attract any flys from elsewhere just kills the ones i am dealing with

I will never buy any other fly killing anything but this. It works so great.

i have used fly bait on horse farms, and as a pest control operator for over 40 years. This product is 100% up to par. The attractant is highly effective, crucial to success. It has reduced a massive fly invasion outside my home (where I spend most of my time) in ONE DAY.

The product did not full fill it's description. I laid it out during the fly season that was gathering early. The product sat out in the open where flies congregate. Near the chicken coop and horse tie-up area. There were flies, but none were attracted to the bait. After a week, I found 5 flies in the open tray. I had used another brand the previous year and was excited to see the trays full of black flies and many around the tray that were obviously dying from having eaten the bait. But not Elanco QuickBayt Fly Bait. I returned the product post haste. I bought the previous brand from last year again and found the trays full of flies as once before. One product worked and this one did not.

Excellent stuff and it really works. I have been having fun using, I put a banana or other food items that gives of a sent that will attract the flies add some water and then add this stuff to it, O boy you will have a ton of dead flies, you can just use an open container no holes needed, once they sip the juices, its a wrap for them. Place a few container around your yard or home and you will be amazed. I am finally enjoying my back yard deck. Now if I can get something that works this great for the mosquitos, but they will also die too if they decide to leave there eggs in the water. By the way you do not have to use the way I have, you can just put out on a plate and they will come, my way makes them come quicker do to the aroma.

this really works. I found a way to supercharge it some: dry it attracts come, with food as bait, a bit more, but if put on a plate with food bait, the granules, then wet them fully, the flies track in the liquid. it is odor free. The red color does transfer if scattered on concrete, and seems permanent. I've used this over canister baits as the odor free works, the others smell to high heaven and have to be tossed in a few weeks. It seems flies are on the increase, with weather events. BTY, if I have a plate of this, I put some mesh over, to prevent pet or animal interference. The cats aren't interested, but small wild animals and birds may be. I don't know if this would kill them, but I error on caution. (it is not, though, rat poison). The intended use is for barns, but I'm using it around the home, protected. Since I don't know too much about it, I make the trays with gloves on, and wet them daily with drops of water.

Really not so sure this did anything against the late season fly population in my backyard. Trying to keep flies down around the chicken coop and run. The other bait brand I’d been using also seems to have stopped working. Maybe they’ve built up a tolerance to this stuff.

My house and yard are overcome with flies every summer. I was very hopeful that this would provide some amount of relief. I’ve placed several cups of this in the yard and around the house over the last month. I’ve even tried placing other food items to bait them near it or even in the middle of this stuff. I think maybe 5 flies have died. They are not attracted to it. Not worth it for me.
