Ram Bike Handlebar Mount (Metal) - Black

Purchased this after seeing mention of them on biking forums. I wanted a sturdy mount for my Garmin Etrex HCx Vista GPS unit, as the mount kit that comes with it is OK - but not for the punishment it gets when I ride enduro/green lanes. I've had the GPS bounce out of its holder a couple of times before. Combined with the RAM clip for the GPS unit, this mount is rock solid. Fully adjustable, so I can set the position however I want it, first impressions are very very good. Seller was very prompt with delivery so all in all a happy purchase!!

Used it to mount a drill monitor to a tractor door handrail. Did the job perfectly. Would definitely recommend it.

Had this strapped to the bars of my enduro bike across parts of Africa. Just completed central to north Kenya in 8 days on about 25km tarmac. Not a sniff of an issue or slip, remained solid throughout with the Garmin GPS 62 on a mount. Secure and trustworthy. I would say that a little more flexibility would be good without the extension being too far away from the bars. I think if they made the central bar that grips both balls with each end offset by 90 degrees, it would give great movement instead of both recesses for each of the ball's necks being on the same line.

Shockingly bad quality. Arrived with paint chips all over the mount. U bolts snapped under light tightness and did not hold the mount secure to the handlebar at all. Also bought another Ram add on and the plastic was so brittle and poor quality. I would absolutely not recommend any Ram mounts.

I purchased this mount to accompany the X-Grip Cell Phone Holder , which I needed to mount in both my car & on my bike. I bought this one specifically as it comes with both the handlebar mount & the diamond mount plate. Installation of both was simple & painless. Handlebar mount - Comes with 2 U-bolts with different lengths to suit many thicknesses of bars you might need to mount to. Also included are locking nuts & rubber caps to cover the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The width is very small which is very important. I commute to work on my bike so I need to be able to hold as many things as possible (either on the bike itself on on my back). This holder takes up almost no space on the handlebars, and the long arm puts the phone up out of the way. It is also extremely stable (although on a road bike there is very little vibration, so I can't say for certain if this would work as well for mountain bikes/ATVs/etc over rougher terrain. All the reviews I have read indicate that it is very stable under those circumstances as well). Diamond mount plate - Requires 2 screws to mount (#10 screws), which are not included. You'll need 1/4" minimum length screws if you are using nuts to mount this to a flat surface with thru-holes, which I did. This is a great little mount if you need to fit onto a small surface or will be holding something lightweight (phone, GPS, etc). If you plan to hold something heavier, I would suggest using the 2 7/16" Flat Surface Mount or Square 2-Inch x 1.7-Inch Base as you will have a much more stable base. For my application though, the size is perfect & it was basically a free bonus with the handlebar mount.

It works exactly like it states! I am using it to hold a fish finder in my boat!

Ottimo supporto per moto, il prezzo giustifica la qualità è nettamente superiore, ho montato il mio navigatore garmin da auto acquistando il supporto a parte opzionale, ma volendo ci si può fissare qualsiasi cosa. Stabile e robusto, non si muove nemmeno di 1 mm, non vibra e si sgancia in 2 secondi. Consigliato.
