Works as a basic scale and in espresso mode to automatically start the timer when the coffee brews
There's really not much else to say other than the scale works great for weighing small items to a higher level of precision than most kitchen scales in the case of espresso you want to be able to go down to a specific measurement down to a gram. Most kitchen scales can't manage this task, but this one is really good. In addition it has a future where if you enable espresso mode, it will not only weigh the amount of coffee that goes into your cup but it will also automatically time how long it took for the shot to finish which can be very handy for setting up your machine with new coffee types especially for beginners like me.

Frequently Inaccurate by .1 - .3g
The media could not be loaded. Edit: after posting my initial review (below) the seller reached out to me to make things right. So I wanted to update my review as, despite the initial issue (which I am guessing was related to my unit, not the product generally) they quickly worked to get in touch and remedy the situation. 5 stars for customer service!Original review: I really enjoyed the scale and it seemed to work well for a couple months. Then I started to notice when weighing out beans after taring the scale, when I removed the bowl I had torn, the negative weight value would be more than the bowl originally was weighed. I realized this was leading to inaccurate measurements, generally around .2 of a gram off but sometimes more. This may seem like a small amount, but if the scale weights in tenths of a gram, I’d expect it to be correct to that level of precision? It’s frustrating, now I feel like I need to weigh everything twice to confirm the weight is accurate, and about 80% of the time it is not.I added a video to illustrate exactly what I mean. You can see I weigh out 19g of coffee. But when I re-measure the beans by pouring into a new container, the weight is actually 19.2. As far as I can tell this only happens when I tare the container I’m measuring into, but that still seems like it shouldn’t happen. The Amazon listing indicates they “promise 5 years if after-sales service” and to contact customer support if you have issues. I looked but could not find any way to contact them, not on the Amazon page, not on the product packaging, not via a web search. Maybe they monitor reviews and will reach out to fix the situation, in which case I will update my review to let people know. But as of now, the scale is quite frustrating to use when I really want .1 gram precision.

If you weigh your doses to make TOP NOTCH coffee.....
This scale is so far the most functional scale I tried. If you follow me, you will see that I have tried over 9 scales!I have kept a number of them just for other uses. but for espresso, this one is most consistent in starting the Auto timer, and Taring the weight when I simply place my cup in it.I have not checked the accuracy of the weight, but so far I have had just a couple be off, and only 1 off more than a gram(which is BAD). But soon I will test.I will also say and save you and Amazon returns....by AVOIDing the 3Bomber as I tested it and reviewed it. $50 for horrible function, avoid it until they update the software. The sound on this scale can be turned off. The back has a on/off switch as well as auto time out.The LED lights are very goodI just wish it was 20-25-30% larger. This things is not easy to read when its under my espresso machine grouphead. The 3Bomber scale hardware is actually very good with tilted display, and stainless top, and water resistant design. 3Bomber needs to cheange their software to this one.

Short Lifespan
It worked fine until it didn’t. The scale just decided to randomly die one day not even 3 months in use. It was recently charged so I know the battery isn’t dead, I’ve tried resetting and waiting a day and opening it up again but it just does not want to work.UPDATE: After the review, the company reached out and sent me a replacement! The new product works perfect and I’m impressed with the customer service for noticing my review and reaching out ! Thanks !

Scale malfunctions
I’ve had this scale for a couple of months and only use it weekly. It’s already malfunctioning. I’m outside of my return date so I will have to try something else. It was good in the beginning.

I can't say enough how much I love this scale, it's poor man's acaia
I've been using it for more than 6 mo. It's still running not like some other cheap scales I used before, which will stop working or become funky being expose in high humidity environments for a few month. The scale is accurate and down to the 0.1g which is enough for me to pull a good shot using my Gaggia Classic Pro. The touch button are very responsive. The only little thing I am not 100% satisfied is that, sometimes the buttons may appear "dead", but it's not broken, you just need to remove all the weight from it and place it on a solid surface, tap the button and it will work again.I will definitely buy a bunch of them, if I am running a coffee shop. It's poor man's acaia.

Works.. kinda. Not accurate for 100/200/400/500 g test weights
I have an actual set of calibration weights and a good reference scale.. this scale is not that accurate. If you're ok with 500g of weight incorrectly reading as 500.8g and 200g reading as 200.3 g, then this scale is fine.. but know that' it's not particularly precise calibrated against known good weights and measures. I would only trust it to the gram reading at best, not to the 0.1 gram for which it is advertised.
