Great holder for my phone
I turned my old Android phone to a dash cam + navigation system. Given that it is a dash cam, it needs to have a clear view of the windshield in order to record the road and cars around me. Before I used to have one of the window mounted holders and, while they were good, the obstruction of view was really bad (especially when making a wide right turn). This little holder completely removes that problem. There are couple of "problems" that this mount has: * Depending on where your camera is, view might be obstructed (partially or entirely) * When phone is placed in this mount, it might move a bit when you rapidly accelerate or breakThe reason why I put problems in quotes was because they can be solved quite easily by moving the pegs around. For example, in order to make phone more sturdy, instead of keeping holders parallel to each other, you can angle them a bit (by moving only 1 side of the holder). This way your phone is going to be held more tightly. The same trick could also solve your camera blocking issue without obstructing too much of your screen.

Finally!
I have tried MANY different types of phone holders and have been consistently disappointed. The cupholder ones force you to look away from the road. Suction cups lose their suction after awhile. Clamps that hold your phone in place are rigid and must be forced open and closed and they snap off, or the design won't accommodate your phone while in the case or allow you to charge the phone while it is being held.THIS phone holder is made out of floppy rubber which is a little weird, and seems flimsy. As a note, the rubber does tend to attract "floaties" in the air, but it's not bad enough to lose any stars in my rating. However, it perfectly accommodates my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus while in a Beetle case (like an Otter Box), also while it's charging! The horizontally-oriented display takes up less visual room when mounted to the dashboard (using little sticky "feet" on the bottom of the base). It is an incredibly simple design, but it WORKS GREAT, take it from a former Lyft driver, who has run the gamut of all different types of phone holders (as detailed above). Aside from the "floaties" issue, fitting the clamps into the base is a little fiddly but again, this product does what do many others fail to do.I LOVE IT. GET IT.

Good design, Just not solid enough for both orientations.
I thought it was made out of hard plastic, but it really like a firm type silicone, it works best with the phone in landscape position. Struggles to hold my iPhone in portrait and I really do not like having to use adhesives on my interior so I did not use the adhesive, I simply left the protective adhesive stickers on. I just wish it was made out of hard plastic core with a silicone layer because I really wouldve liked to position my phone in both orientations without worrying if its going to fly out of the holder mainly in portrait style. Also the charge cable does not fit in portrait style, mainly best for landscape position.

Holds Iphone without issue and surviving the hot summer days without pealing off
So far so good. I placed this on my dash the day after I got it. We have been through some hot days (90F and above) and I own a black vehicle. It has survived the oven it resides in with no signs yet of losing the grip. The adjustable clasps to hold the phone in place have come in handy as well when letting someone else place their phone in the holder. Mind you I only use it laying my phone horizontally for the best support/gripIf you have a vehicle with a flat dashboard, or even slightly rounded like mine, then this should work well for you too.UPDATE:: If you’re like me, you read reviews and think ok but how will you like it months from now. Well I’ve had this since June and have not had a single issue. That includes when I was nearly hit by another car and had to slam on my brakes. The phone didn’t budge at all. Which made me think that if I had been hit, at least I could have called for help. I’ve even had the place where I got my car washed ask me where I got it. So 6 months in and I’m considering getting ones for others as a gift for Christmas.

horizontal only
This holder is just o.k. It may work well for one car, with only one driver. Before sticking it into place, make sure it will be right where you want it. Set the phone brackets into the base to properly secure the phone before sticking it to the dashboard. This will not hold the phone in the vertical position. (Horizontal only) After that, stick the base to the dashboard and its good to go. However it is not easily adjustable. It can be moved and reset if necessary but this task cannot be done "on the fly" while driving. The dash mount transfers a good deal of vibration from the car, causing Facetime communication to be very jittery and at times causing audio difficulties as well. (That might just be the car though)

Perfect phone holder!
I absolutely love this for holding my iPhone while I drive. I used to have a holder that hung from my rear view mirror. While that worked well, my phone swung from side-to-side constantly. Now it stays right where it belongs and navigation is available at glance, perfect to Bluetooth podcasts through your vehicle stereo system. This holder also allows for my charging cord to stay plugged in all the time so no worries ever about the battery dying. The rubberized “adhesive” circles on the bottom of the holder are not actually sticky, and are totally eternally reusable and keep it securely in place. The adjustable yokes on either end allow this holder to accommodate nearly any handheld device in any position. And it’s portable! We just used it in our rental car for a 2,000+ mile road trip. Worth every penny.

Cheap made
It is a good option for cars dashboard when comes to place a phone or something, but I can’t find any spot on my dashboard that I would like to place it on and won’t block my view when I drive, so I have to return it, useless for me.

Does what it is supposed to do, fits perfectly in a Nissan Frontier
Well designed and good quality materials. It fits perfectly in the dashboard well on my Nissan Frontier. I use it to hold my Garmin GPS. Only downside is that the viewing angle is predetermined and not adjustable. Overall, a very usable product.
