I joined Amazon and applied for the credit card when purchasing this laptop. My final cost was under $200.Setup was easy and it performs as expected. I do find the screen a bit small as I use the laptop for preparing my tax return, Amazon purchases, internet searches, no gaming. I did purchase a 22 inch plug and play monitor to use with the laptop at Walmart for $58. Overall a great value for light use.

This is a great computer for a student, someone who just wants to surf the web or watch a movie. I use if for hooking to my truck and writing. Good buy. Battery is a little lacking but thats ok.

To keep this short I bought this machine to replace a HP compaq for a retired family member. It had to be cheap and light so as to be useable on a couch but with a nice large screen and keyboard, which is why a tablet wouldn't work. I chose this based on reviews of its upgradability. The machine looks great feels great to the touch despite it being plastic and is very portable. The resolution is below HD but that makes the OS elements very large and usable for older eyes. I got this for $250 and change and I'm more or less pleased. The biggest drawback is the single antennae 2.4 wifi. It really slows down setup activities and certain large web information sharing operations. youtube videos are fine and things like emailing aren't affected much but cloud backup and sharing is confusing until I remember the antennae issue. The user will need patience for things like this, use ethernet or, a travel wifi device or, something.I upgraded the ram to 12Gb and this model came with an SSD.

I use this primarily for web surfing and streaming content from YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. It performs very well in these uses. I encountered no difficulties at all in setup and no problems downloading and installing software as needed. Touchscreen works very well, although I use a mouse for most functions. I love the keyboard. It has great feel and responsiveness to my touch. I did have one small problem with the bundled flash pen. It's very tight in USB ports, and I could not insert it at all into the port of an MP3 player to which I tried to use it to port music. I was able to use it to port data from one computer to another, however, and can use it to store data. Overall a minor problem.

Poor quality, my phone wasn’t able To attach properly, the screen was dim.Stop working April 3.2020 I got it February 2020!

A good computer for the price. I’m very happy with it so far. The screen is 14 inches. Most of the comments on here says it’s not but I think that’s cause they are measuring it wrong. Changing to regular windows 10 is easy and free !

Upgraded from a big heavy laptop that was very slow. This is a huge improvement. Keyboard is large and legible. Windows is familiar. No trouble at all!

Every time the computer or screen is moved the display goes blank. Problem didn't start until a week after the return time window closed. Computer was not abused, dropped or mishandled. Don't get me started about HP "support", what a joke!
