After reading the reviews, I figured my chances were 50-50 that I would like this coffee. I am happy to say that I am “team chicory”. As an avid coffee drinker (which is why I need to cut back 😏) I am very particular about the taste. I don’t like burnt or weak coffee. I like robust and bouyant. This chicory is acceptable! And with half and half it is a treat! No, of course it’s not coffee, but it’s better than decaf and some other real coffees I’ve tried!

I got it as a coffee substitute after reading online it was the closest alternative. Unlike others I will say It’s not for me. It has a very strong bitter aftertaste that lasts. I drink cafe bustelo black no sugar no cream just black and this imo needs sugar and cream. again nothing wrong with the product just not for me.

I was kind of expecting this to taste like one of those teas that is pretending to be coffee, but surprisingly it actually does kind of hit the same place in my brain as coffee, flavor-wise. I drink a lot of flavored coffees and it's kind of like one of the nuttier varieties of flavored coffee. Time will tell if I can get myself to drink it every day, but it definitely seems promising.

I like the convenience of the pods. I like the flavor when I fix it with Italian sweet cream, but I don't love the flavor. Unlike coffee, you can forget drinking this once it cools. This being said, I have GERD so I need to strictly limit my intake of real coffee. The chickory pods help me do this. As an added bonus, I understand chickory is actually a healthy prebiotic. Good product. Wish it was less expensive.

Great if you like chicory. However, I learned very quickly that I do not, given that it tastes like hot ass.

My gf and I tried this because she cant have caffeine, but loves coffee...and tbh I was a lil worried it would taste like "hot ass" because of some of the reviews...But, we are happy to report that not only does it actually pass for a tasty cup of coffee, apparently...with some tasty cream, hot ass is quite enjoyable 👍

it tastes like day old coffee that I put in the microwave. If I put enough creamer in it, I can make it work, but it's not something I would drink every day.

I was concerned about the reviews talking about the bitter taste. I see what they’re talking about but I don’t find it that bitter. May just be my tastebuds 🤷‍♀️ I like this better than herbal tea or decaf and good for avoiding bladder irritants and maintaining a morning coffee feeling which is what I was after.

Very good product, really nice flavour, just a bit strong. Would be perfect if just slightly less strong, but still, highly recommend if you are trying to avoid coffee and caffiene in a natural way.
