Easy to install
The antitheft device was very easy to install. I am still able to pick up the generator without any interference from the device. It fits well and I’m pleased with its construction.

Fits EU2200ITAN1.
Fits EU2200ITAN1 generator, but I had to bend the ends inwards with a crescent wrench (took 5 seconds).

Toughness.
Returned D/T buying a bigger generator. Did not fit the 3200 watt Honda. Seemed very well made.

UNTHREADED HOLES NEED DRILLED OUT
The media could not be loaded. This product is a good deterrent even though a grinding wheel could make short work of it. It’s unfortunate that such a simple fix as enlarging the holes hasn’t been incorporated at the factory. You’ll have to do that yourself. I used a 19/64ths drill bit to provide clearance for the sleeve/spacer. Alternatively you could just hold the sleeve in between the metal tabs and push the bolt through to the threaded side and tighten. Good gauge steel and looks good on the generator. Not uncomfortable to carry installed.

Works fine
This is easy to install and works fine. It is also easily defeated with the right tools, so it does its job but isnt perfect. It is directional so make sure it is oriented correctly. Try installing the screws in the bracket before installing to make sure the holes are aligned. Wrap some duct tape around both ends of generator handle before installing to keep it from rattling on the handle. That is all. Good price.

Multiple fabrication errors - Do not buy
My first impression was the security bracket kit seems well made. But I soon changed my opinion when trying to attach it to my new EU2200i. First, the bracket is supposed to be attached with the small tab at the fuel filler end. This end is supposed to be the wider one, but was actually made so it was the narrower end. Second, the plastic bushings are supposed to go through holes in the handle, but the holes are too small, so they do not fit. Third, the screws are supposed to slip into the plastic bushings, but the inside diameter in one of the bushings is too small for the screw to fit. I tried reaming it out, but was unsuccessful since I don’t have metric drill bits, and the closest inch bit was too small. So, I figured with 3 stupid mistakes on something so simple, and no quality control on the manufacturers part, why bother. I am returning it and will attempt to get one directly from Honda. I should have read the 1 and 2 star reviews, as most of these problems are mentioned there.

Seems comparable to similar items but at a significantly lower cost.
The “special wrench” is a common security hex wrench (an “Allen” wrench with a hole drilled in the end.) it seems this is what all such brackets use. Not high security, but it would probably deter most common thieves, as they’d probably move on to easier pickings. As my dad used to say “Locks are for honest people.” I’m sure a determined thief could bypass any such bracket, but I feel better with the bracket than without. The main reason I gave it three stars was the lack of clear installation instructions. The directions were a 2” X 2” card with print so small I couldn’t read it with a magnifying glass! I ended up enlarging it with my printer. At least the print was of high enough quality it clearly enlarged 400%. The instructions included a link to a You Tube video that was posted by a person who had very little knowledge of the eu series of generators, and presented much misinformation such as shutting off the gas using the vent rather than the fuel shut off included in the on/off switch, stating the parallel cables are polarity sensitive, and not understanding the difference between the companion model and the standard eu 2200i. The 5 minute video spent less than a minute covering the actual installation.

The weakest security is the plastic handle. This helps with the deterrant theft.
I have two of the EU2200i inverters. Even with strong 5/8 Brinks cables it is a blink of an eye to cut the plastic handle. These will armor plate those handles mitigating the risk as a deterrent.Of course the real mitigation is to lock them up inside at night (which I do). I still use the brinks cables and lock when stored to a 1/2in steel anchor.Yes, nothing is perfect, especially with today's battery cutting tools. But, the is way better that not doing it.
