Easy to Use, Efficient, and Perfect for Fresh Juice!
The Proctor Silex Electric Citrus Juicer has been a great addition to my kitchen. It’s super easy to use, just press down on the reamer, and the juice flows quickly into the 34 oz. container. I’ve used it for oranges, lemons, and even grapefruit, and it handles them all efficiently without much effort. I love that it’s easy to clean, the parts come apart quickly and can be rinsed or washed in the sink. The design is simple and compact, so it doesn’t take up too much counter space. The white color looks clean and classic, fitting nicely with my other kitchen appliances. If you want fresh citrus juice without the hassle of manual juicing, this electric juicer is a reliable and affordable option. It’s fast, convenient, and makes mornings much easier!

Excellent and Durable
I've had this juicer for a year now and it has proven to be both excellent and dependable, especially for its low cost. Unlike the Black & Decker similar juicer than I first bought, this one has proven to be durable. Also, its double-headed cone allows one to squeeze juice both from larger and smaller citrus fruits; so oranges on the large and lemons or tangerines on the small. Noise level is not low, but then again this is a brief effort in the morning. Rind is rather easy to clear out afterward by running the cone heads and rind capture tray under cold water. Highly recommended for its type.

It's a Simple No Frilles Juicer and It Works
This is a simple, low cost, no frills basic juicer that makes great juice. I have a excellent producing navel orange tree that gives oranges year round here in Zone 10b. I also have a similar producing tangerine tree. My old basic Proctor Silex juicer finally died after 12 years so for $15.50 I bought this basic Proctor Silex juicer that looks just like my old juice. Fancy that. :-) I didn't need any bells or whistles, LED lights and I didn't need my juicer to play music. I just want some fresh orange or tangerine juice and that's all I ask of this juicer. It works. It doesn't leak, spill the juice or struggle to turn the juicer. It's made from plastic but it's plenty sturdy. I cut the fruit, put it in the machine, turn it on and I have juice. Heaven. And virtually free. No problem. There's no reason to spend $100 to $555 on a super-juicer if all you want is plain juice.

Gets ALL the juice
So much better than the squeeze press I was using. This gets ALL the juice. Should've bought one of these a long time ago, but better late than not at all.

Works great for the money spent
Compact, easy to use and easy to clean. Maybe not as easy as an automatic one, but this is inexpensive not cheaply made. Will do the job!

Nice little basic juicer
Looking for a basic citrus juicer, it came down to this and the similar Black and Decker version. I did EXTENSIVE research on juicers on the cheaper side, and these two were perennial contenders. Based on this one being half the price, I gave it a whirl and have been pleased with the results. YIELD I used 6 average juice oranges to yield just under 24oz of juice with pulp setting at the second lowest (see pics) EFFICIENCY The oranges were largely ground out, suggesting that it is pretty efficient. The pulp in the collector seemed to have most of the juice squeezed out TECHNIQUE Roll the fruit on the counter first to loosen the juice before cutting. Cut across the middle ifvtge fruit (where the “equator” would be). Press the fruit downwards on the reamer, gently squeezing or massaging it into the reamer as it gets towards the end of juicing. Before discarding the hollow peel, lift and press down one more time. The reamer should change direction, scraping out the last bit of juice in the opposite direction TIME I juice 1 orange in about 1kin, 30sec per half PULP CONTROL Just move the selector to your desired setting. Holes in the collector trough will open and close accordingly, letting in (or keeping out) the amount of pulp you like NOISE Yeah, it’s a bit noisy CLEAN UP In a snap; I just rinse everything in the sink, and it here are no difficult parts to wash. During the juicing process, depending on your pulp selection, you may need to scoop out oranges bits between each orange so the fruit your labour (haha!) doesn’t get trapped in the debris in the collection trough. With a bit of practice, you’ll soon be getting as much juice as your fruit can give. Enjoy!

WORKING WELL SO FAR
1. NOISY compared to my old (50 Watt) Braun. 2.I have done up to 10 oranges (= 1 Litre of OJ) in one session and motor did not get warm and worked well. 3. 2 piece Pulp Control Basket must be separated to properly clean. NO info in the User Guide on How To separate the 2 piece Pulp Control Baset. I posed a Question here and a person suggested she carefully pried them apart using a butter knife. I put tip of butter knife next to one of the three tabs and it popped apart - easy peasy. Inside was lots of pulp YUK. So it is important to separate this 2 part basket or something nasty might start to grow. OVERALL I'm pleased with this Juicer. The only problem with my 40 yr old Braun is the container that catches the OJ, it only hold 8 oz so I had to constantly empty it if juicing more than a couple of oranges. Great juicer for the price and I recommend it. It may not last over 40 years like my Braun but for the price I'm OK and I'll keep my Braun just in case.
