Noctua NA-SYC1 chromax.Blue, 4-Pin Y-Cables (Blue)

It is advertised that the second fan will be controlled based off the first fan. This is not 100% accurate. The second fan will spin at a lower rpm. You can see the difference while both fans are spinning at "max" speed. I feel as if this defeats the purpose of having the splitter. My radiator is not staying as cool as it used to since the second fans are not spinning as fast

I don't understand why these cables/cable extenders have good reviews. If I hadn't torn the box trying to open them I would return them. The white "cover" is a weird rubbery texture that doesn't curve at all, it just kinks.The actual cable inside the sheath is about half the width, so it doesn't fill it out enough for the sheath to not just buckle and kink. It is not braided like is implied by the photos, I guess I should have looked closer, as I don't think they are described as braided. I ended up not using them in my PC build as it is a high end machine with a certain aesthetic and these cable would have ruined it.If they aren't going to be seen I'm sure they're fine and do the job, but they are made to be seen, and since they can't smoothly bend around a curve, and can only do sharp angles I don't really see a use for them.Also the black heat shrink covers so much of the colored section, that by the time you pass them from your motherboard back through the hole to the rear of the machine, you barely see any of the color anyway!I would not buy this product.

I got these for my 360mm radiator, to be able to put 6 fans on the AIO and wow... Noctua has never failed me until now. I plug any fan into this and the sockets are so loose, you have to secure the connection with a zip tie or electrical tape for it to stay. Very poorly measured connections. Not snug what so ever. BUT... I've had no issues with the wires failing or anything. I taped the connections and they work as intended.

If you are looking for a way to, for example, power two CPU fans from a single four pin motherboard fan connector, this product will do that! What this product will not do, and is not designed to do, is allow for you to independently control or monitor both fans RPMs, just one of them. Despite Noctur being a reputable name, I was optimistically skeptical of the quality/ value, but rest assured, these four pin connectors are head and shoulder above similar items.

Ordered these to allow a couple fans to run off a single header on my motherboard. When i opened the box i was initially impressed.... right up until it came to actually install and use these. My first problem came with trying to curve it so it pointed up towards the top of the case. One of the wire pulled out of the the fan header, basically rendering the splitter useless, and i tossed that immediately. The next issue is the sleeving, while this makes them look nice, it also doesn't flex or turn well at all, usually just making a kink. So the best way to use these, without them sticking goofily straight up out of your motherboard, is with a fan hub.... only if you bought one with extra ports you wouldn't need these at all.Overall, their quality looks good, but actual usability is terrible, and i would recommend that you don't buy these particular ones should you need splitters. I immediately replaced these with a small Silverstone fan hub and was much more happy with that.Hopefully Noctua can revise these, as this was my first product from them, and while they technically work... just suck to actually use.

I needed some fan header splitter cables for my PC build. Having already owned noctua products previously, I knew that I could trust that these would be high quality cables, and they did not disappoint. The packaging gives a premium unboxing experience, and the cables are high quality. The chromax black matched my chromax NH-U12s from Noctua perfectly, and helped to give a premium look to my PC with matching cables. Would highly recommend.

Not what I expected. They were not straight through 4 pin to 4 pin connectors and I had to modify them by pulling pins and putting into different spots in the plug. After that they worked for my. They feel a little cheap and the sleeving could be smaller so it is less baggy and awkward around the spot where the sleeving is terminated by the heat shrink

Had a couple of fans I needed to connect to the motherboard of my PC but only a single remaining fan header, so I ordered these. The price is competitive to others on Amazon’s, but these look much nicer than most with the cable sleeves that matched my power supply perfectly.Would recommend and would order again if I needed more of them.

Noctua are well known when it comes to computer cooling so I thought I'd take a shot and buy their Y cables. They do the job and allow me to have 4 fans powered with only 2 power connections/pins on my MOBO. Just note: It is a 4 pin connection that goes into 1 4 pin connection and a 3 pin connection X2 cables. So I have my CPU and one of the front case fans connected on a 4 pin connection so that the speed can be controlled (needs a 4 pin connection to control speed) and the other front case fan and the back/exhaust fan on 3 pin connections so that they always run at max speed.

These will happily split and slightly extend a fan header to accommodate more fans.3 stars because the heatshrink on mine were not secure and would expose the wires. Also, for a white set of cables, it would have been more in keeping with aesthetics to use white heatshrink. Very minor problems, but when you pay for Noctua you do expect the very best, so rated accordingly.

These do a good job if your requirement of minimal cable length in your rig.I can't review these as highly as others have as these seem just as basic as any other cables so I wouldn't necessarily avoid other brands just because these are made by noctua.Repeating useful advice on another review; if you have a 3 and 4 pin fan to attach to one of these, make sure the 4 pin fan is attached to the spilt with 4 pins, that'll send the right signals down the line and both fans will run as programmed.

I needed these as my motherboard only has 4 fan headers but I have 6 fans installed on my case so I thought I'd buy these as they look rather nice and do the job just fine but due to how short they are they make cable managing a nightmare as they aren't long enough for me to hide them in my case so now my beautiful cable management looks awful :(

I needed these for a build where I needed my cables to be longer, and white, to match the colour scheme.They made my cables:- Longer- WhiteI don't know what I could have expected from these to give less than a 5 star.
