Didn’t even work
Bought this with anticipation. With the extra Ethernet cable slots and quick stats on paper, it seemed perfect. But didn’t even work. SIM card worked perfectly fine but when placed in this router, nothing. Called the technician support, useless. What a waste of time.

Works out of the box without the need for any configurations
I had an expensice fibre modem and wanted to switch to a cheper 5G solution. Ordered the D-link DWR 3000M, which arrived very next morning from Amazon. Tested the device with the phone SIM I was already using. It worked without any hasles. Then I ordered a data only SIM from Virgin which I went and collected from their nearby outlet (I did not want to wait for the delivery). It is all done and overnight I changed from a fibre based internet to 5G mobile internet. I am yet to verify the performance of the device, however I have no reason to believe that it may have issues. One advice of caution however - the device works only with micro SIM and not the common nano SIM which we use in the mobile phone. Do not insert the nano SIM as you will find it very difficult to take it out. I had to find the micro adaptor to test the unit with the nano SIM from my mobile. Further, the one sheet setup guide that comes with the unit does not have any guidance on how to insert the SIM in the provided slot nor the unit itself does not have any indications. I had to do trial and error and find the right direction.

Did not work - no signal
The router did not have any signal - I spend 1 day talking several times with D link technical support , after several call they told me try the sim on phone and if it works write an email and we will reply you back , they never replied back !! Just wasted my time buying this router and talking to its useless technical support !!
