Thoughtfully made and packaged
I received this incubator last week after much debate over buying it or live chicks. My flock is savage, so no raising babies for them, many failed attempts later. My fertilized eggs have been in the incubator for 3 days. An important detail is that the dome fits very securely, no wiggle once in place. I say this because I started with 10 eggs but added 2 within 24 hours of starting the incubation period. The humidity dropped and did not increase as it did at the initial start up, after a few hours was up past 70%. So I checked the dome and it had some movement, then seated into place correctly. So far, it is working great, temp holding at 100 degrees, humidity now up, and rotates eggs every 2 hours. The unit is easy to use and instructions are understandable. The only thing that would improve this unit is to provide a bit more room for each egg. I have several jumbo eggs, so they are a little crowded. Very nice incubator.

First time egg hatcher!
I purchased this incubator with the intention on hatching my own store purchased fertile eggs (instead of buying chicks) and rasing chickens for the sole purpose of having our own fresh eggs. I actually bought my fertile eggs from a local grocery store, which is crazy lol. (Make sure if you're planning on doing the same, you make sure the eggs are fertile and not the regular everyday store bought eggs) I wanted to go through the whole process of the whole egg experience, which has been an amazing little journey. I have enjoyed every step of this process and am excited that I have 6 more days until hatching day! I started with 10 and now have 3. In no way is that the fault of anyone (me, the incubator etc.) This is just life and what can happen during the incubation process. The incubator keeps at the temperature that you set it, so this part was great. The humidity level was a little more of a challenge for me. I base this on the temperature of my home, the location I have the incubator (my kitchen counter) as well being new to this whole thing. Towards these last days I've finally managed to keep the humidity level within a certain range after some trial and error. The Styrofoam insert (don't throw that way) is definitely a life saver in helping keep the humidity level set at a steady temp for a great portion of the day. At night time, I wrap a towel around it as well since it gets so cold at night. The incubator also has an automatic egg Turner (which you need for most of the 21 days). I've seen some incubators that require you to manually turn them and for being my first time, I wanted it to be one less step I would have to do (or remember to do) The incubator is very easy to use, It is nearly silent and it's definitely great quality for a beginner backyard breeder like me. The incubator itself is not cheaply made and seems to me to be very durable for the purposes of hatching eggs. I have had no issues with this at all. It holds 12 eggs, which I recommend you start with 10-12 as a beginner, I'm glad I did. I will give an update (hopefully as a chick mama) as to how it help up after the chicks hatched inside!

Great little incubator. Has some flaws
This was my first time incubating. I put 12 eggs in and 7 hatched, which I think is a pretty good hatch rate. I love how easy this is to use. The manual it comes with spells out exactly what you need to do in layman’s terms. I love that the water bottles make it easy to gauge how much water you have left and you can have better control over your humidity that way. I also love the automatic turner!! Saved me from having to remember to do it. It seems to be made of good quality material, and is fairly quiet when running. However, I will say the part where the fan is, hangs down into the hatch space so there’s not as much room for them to stand up and move around once they’ve hatched. Also, the foam box it comes with isn’t always enough to keep the humidity constant. I did find myself putting a beach towel over it to keep the humidity from falling too far at times. Those were the only issues I found. It’s very easy to take apart and clean afterwards. My chicks are healthy and happy! I would recommend this incubator to anyone who is a first time chicken hatcher or if you just need a small reliable incubator.

Great product
We’ve now had two batches of chicks born in this incubator. It works great!! So much for for the entire family to hatch baby chicks. Super easy instructions to follow and it really works!

Great value & Easy to use!
Easy to use & clear instructions. This model is great for beginners or pros alike. Spent a lot more on a model at our local farm supply store & prefer to use this model instead! More accurate & better temperature control! Easy to clean.

UPDATE
I'm 3 days into incubation and seems to be able to keep a pretty much constant temp. I did have to lower the temp from the factory 100 to 99 to get a 99.3-99-6 temp range. With it set at 100 I was getting around 100.3 ish and I didn't want it that high. The humidity reading is about 6% lower than my accurate humidity/temp sensor but I just increase the humidity to counteract that. The only negative so far is I found I have to "burp" the water bottle. It doesn't feed the tray automatically because I think it gets air-locked so I have to raise it up a little out of the tray to let it fill the tray. I'm thinking about putting a small hole in the top of the bottle. I can always cover it up if that doesn't work but I think that'll take care of the problem. UPDATE: the temp swings for no reason. (and humidity). I have this in a room in my house that is temp controlled and not in any drafts or near windows. The temp will be relatively stable for an hr or two then suddenly change over a degree. the most recent one was the temp had been steady at 99.6 and then went to 98.4 for no reason and then stayed at 98.4 for almost an hr. (I use an accurate electronic WiFi temp/humidity sensor inside that sends constant info to my iPad app). the most important thing in incubating is STEADY readings. You can have lower or higher set temps (to a point) and no harm is done but the temps have to be STEADY. it's the swings in readings that causes problems. It just may be my unit but I wouldn't purchase this again due to the swings in set temps.

Worked amazing for us!
I recently got into quail farming and ordered this incubator to start off with it. Couldn’t beat it for the price! It’s sleek in appearance and small so easy to keep on the counter and is quiet! You can’t hear a thing. The only time you can hear anything is when it’s turning the eggs, and that a low noise at best! It was easy to clean afterwards. There are a few cons to this though. Although the reading is clear, temp gauge is somewhat inaccurate. I read the reviews on this and order a hygrometer with it just to be safe. The incubator might say 102, but the hygrometer might say 100-101. Not a huge difference, but when it comes to hatching eggs, it makes all the difference. The foam box it comes with is a big help in helping keep the temp consistent. Never fluctuated more than 1 degree. It also doesn’t display the humidity level. But the hygrometer took care of that as well. I recommend getting one. They only cost around $6. I also didn’t like how there are no instructions on how to keep humidity up. I was adding water every few hours the first week to keep it right. I added a sponge to the water holding are under the rack the second week which helped. During lockdown, I added those non-slip mats you buy at the dollar store that you put in drawers and it seemed to keep the humid surprisingly stable. I’ll add it to the water holding to test how well during the next week until my next batch of eggs come in next week. With all that said, it worked beautifully! I had a 77% (10 out of 13) hatch rate with my first batch which is amazing considering they were shipped eggs! I’m very pleased with this incubator!
