The printing goes all the way through to the other side, so no noticeable front and back in color or pattern. The tenugui are sewn along the ends, though not hemmed. Information booklet included.

I love them! They came with a comprehensive care guide. I asked my friend in Japan and they said that they also sell this brand in Japan. You do have to be careful with washing them though. I use mine like a bandanna and ITS DOESNT SLIP OFF even when held by A SINGLE KNOT!!

Love the feel of it and is thin enough to keep in pockets and bag, but thick enough that I am not worried about it tearing.

I don't know what their original purpose but I split each one into two "handkerchiefs " and I love them. They maintain their shape after washing and don't go all limp and lifeless. Very satisfied.

Wash easily, dry quickly, make good head cover, neck scarf, drying towel, furoshki, (rectangular wrapping cloth) etc etc etc. Many uses. Just the right density & weight. Love the designs.Better than I expected. Can't live without them. Thanks to Youtube Matcha Samurai for turning me on to them.

These towels have bright coloring and are a good size, but the material is very thin. If I hadn't opened them and used them, I would return them. Feels like leftover scraps of fabric. Nothing like the ones I got in Japan.

You will say bye-bye to regular wash cloths.
