I never used LED bulbs before so wasn't sure how bright these would be. When I got the package, I was a bit surprised how big the bulbs were so immediately I thought, "oh no, these will not fit the lamp." Still took them out, and hesitatingly, put them in. As big as they seem, they easily snapped into place, and 4 of these bulbs make the room very bright. it is a white light, and not the yellowish hue given by the halogen light. One week after placing them, they are going strong and the living room feels very bright. One visitor did comment that the halogen lights give more of a cosy feeling to the space, and that might be true. However, I'll be saving energy and I don't need to turn two lamps on whenever I want to read or write in the living room. We'll see how these bulbs perform over time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars 75 watt G9 LEDs *by F***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 28 April 2017* Wow, I have just put 5 of these in a centre light fitting on a sunny day and I cannot believe how bright they are.They do stick out a bit from my shades but you cannot look at them anyway as they are so bright.I can't wait till dark to see how bright the room will be.Will update after dark.It's dark now and yes they are very bright and give off a bright white light.Most LED say they are equivalent to say 40 watt Halogen but they never are.In this case they say 75 watt Halogen equivalent and they are.Appart from the saving of energy they generate much less heat so you can fit one of these where the Lamp Holds states 40 watt maxAs for life expency only time will tell ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good LED Bulbs *by P***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 4 November 2020* These bulbs were purchased to replace dimmer bulbs in the bathroom.
