Good for Strength Training and Space Saving at Home or the Office
The Fila Home Gym caught my eye because it's affordable and doesn't take up much space at home. Our home is small and we'd rather not fill the remaining space with large exercise equipment if we don't need too. This gym kit has items you could even bring along outside of the home if you wish!I like that this has a Push-up bar, Abdominal Trainer Wheel, and Pull-Up bar. Each of this exercise tools will help one increase their strength at home! My goal is not to lose weight but to shape things up and get stronger. This gym set is perfect for this purpose. When we went to assemble this set, there was an obvious lack of written instruction. However, the parts really can only go in their correct place. There are bolts that have a square head go in the square holes so you know how to line them up. The tools for putting this together is included.Additionally, if you look at the pictures on the box, they show clearly how everything is assembled. All the angles on the pictures show everything you need to know. We only checked the box after assembly to see if it would work as instructions since we used logic to put it together. However if someone has never assembled anything ever, perhaps it would be a little more of a challenge.A note on the included sheet to check the picture on the box may be helpful to some. The guide that's included is merely a piece of paper. It has the setup instructions, workout tips, care, and important safety cautions tips also on it. The exercise guide really isn't much to brag about as it just gives six tips like to avoid holding your breath while exercising, make sure the area you are working out in has plenty of space, etc.The gym pieces assist in exercising properly They don't shift around thanks to the strong foam hand grips. I've never lost my grip even when my hands were sweaty/slippery. These can hold weight very well under much pressure. I am 120lbs and my husband is around 210. We've both used the gym pieces separately without issue. We like that the pull-up bar fits on every door frame in our home and that the other two items can be used just about anywhere as long as you have adequate floor space.I'm recommending this for the affordability and the space saving feature.

A low-budget gym that comes with no assembly instructions and one minor defect
This gym arrives in a small box. It comes in 26 pieces with one tightening key and one written "exercise" sheet but no assembly instructions. I also needed to use a hammer (not included) when assembling the pull-up bar.I am somewhat mechanically inclined, so I was able to use the visual pictures on the box (see last two pictures) to assemble the gym. The screws that attached the arms to the long bar of the pull-up bar caused me a lot of trouble. I eventually had to hammer the screws into the "square" hole when no amount of turning would screw them in. If it were not for that difficulty, I would have had this assembled in about 20 minutes instead of 45 minutes.- The ab wheel is easy to use and rolls nicely on a carpeted floor.- The push-up bars are a bit disappointing because the foam handles keep sliding back and forth when I try to do push-ups. The foam needs to be snug and not loose like it is. It requires certain positioning to keep these foam handles from moving.- The pull-up bar is not something I will use as intended for two reasons. I feel like I will rip my molding off the door frame if I use this or mar my wall surface. Also, I am not (nor was I ever) strong enough to pull up my body weight. Nevertheless, this can be used on the floor as sort of a push-off bar as shown in the last picture.Overall, I am disappointed in this set. The exercise sheet provided is not an exercise sheet at all. There are no assembly instructions, which is a requirement to me. I also do not like that the foam handles on the push up bars slide around and are unstable. If the foam handles stayed in place, I would have rated this four stars. However, because I consider that a defect coupled with the fact that not everyone will find it so easy to assemble without instructions, I am giving this three stars. Nevertheless, this is a low-budget option for those that do not mind the lack of instructions.PHOTOS:Photo one and two are the front and back of the only instructions provided, which is supposed to be an exercise sheet but has nothing to do with exercises. This sheet is a useless piece of paper to me. Photo three includes a picture of the two push up bars and the one ab wheel. Picture four includes the reverse (non-business) side of the pull-up bar and picture five is the business-side (the side where the user positions him or herself) of the bar. The last two pictures are the front and back of the box cover showing the product in use and is what helped me assemble this gym.

No instructions and a minor flaw on the grip
This set was pretty disappointing for me when it arrived. I already had a wheel so that didn't add much but it's nice for those who don't already one. The push up bars are awesome and I use them daily because they give a much wider range of motion than a standard pushup. I feel like those components are just a sideshow for the main pull up bar though as you can easily buy them anywhere for a moderate price on their own.The pull up bar is my biggest gripe... No instructions?! What were you thinking? I even get instructions for kids toys that have few parts let alone something I'm assembling to support my weight while I work out. I don't feel comfortable even trying to use this because of the state it's in. I'm really shocked that for all the effort to build a nice workout pull up bar they couldn't just include a two page booklet to show how it connects.

No Instructions - frustrating....but altogether a good value package!
This is a basic "Home Gym kit" - certainly there is nothing innovative about it in terms of design or content. Once assembled, the items feel sturdy enough but there was some difficulty in its assembling. THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS! That is a real negative as far as I am concerned. I had to use a hammer to force a bolt through a hole that was too small for it. No harm - no foul in the end but I became somewhat frustrated in the process. Also, there were no workout/ exercise instructions, which for an experienced gym rat is not a problem - but for someone who is motivated to follow through with a New Year's resolution it would feel disappointing and exasperating not to have even basic help in how to use these tools. Price point though is a plus, so this is a good value for the type of equipment this is.
