These are pretty great, recovering from a back injury, and the multiple options are really helpful for changing positions when stuck in bed. Does have a bit of a chemical odor, which fades after a few days. Could be a little more firm but overall quality is solid.

I purchased this after hip replacement surgery so i could hopefully get a good night's sleep on my back. I have to give 5 stars due to the amazing Lunix Team members who went above and beyond to ensure I got the rest I needed from their product. I originally had a problem with this system but upon contacting Lunix they were able to get me a lumbar support piece that completed the system I purchased. I would recommend this company if you're looking for help resting or sleeping.

I pinched a nerve in my back nearly 6 weeks ago. Thanks to COVID, I've been afraid to go to the doctors office; especially since previous experience has shown me that (1) they'll just tell me the same largely unhelpful things they tell me every time, (2) I won't get ANY kind of pain relief from them - who cares if I'm in constant agony, (3) they'll recommend PT, which never really helps, will cost me a fortune, and, again, COVID. I hesitated because of the price, even thought about getting an electric adjustable bed base, but I am SO glad I bought this. I can finally get some sleep at night! With a bit of finagling, I can position this for sitting up or reclining at a variety of angles. I personally find I'm using that half-moon bolster pillow for my lumbar area, instead of as neck or head pillow. I go between using nothing, a regular bed pillow, and my 'Sagino Cervical Memory Foam Pillow" for extra head support. If you're wondering, I didn't opt for an adjustable bed base because they're heavy, can be a bit noisy, and are prone to breaking down. To me, that was just NOT worth the high cost! I really like that you can use the Lunix LX5 in a number of configurations. The flexibility it provides is fantastic. I also love that it's supportive, but not too firm. I'm already debating buying either another full set, or at least their LX6 3 pc wedge set for use around the house! I will update this when I've been using it longer, but I was so thrilled and relieved, I really didn't want to wait. Update: Still using this regularly, still love it. Foam is holding up beautifully. I bought extra covers for it so I can swap them out for laundering. The “mattress cover” material parts have a few snags despite laundering them inside out, but the sides are fine and they’ve held up in the wash overall (no holes or shrinking, no broken zippers). FYI, I also bought a set of the newer covers that are the velvety material all over, and the quality of the material isn’t as nice as what was used for the sides on the originals. It IS however, safer from snagging (as in, NO snags), and it looks more finished vs. the mattress cover-style, “bamboo” embossed cream fabric, so there’s that. Do beware the pink option - the color is more of a peachy pink in person and (imho) looks cheap and very juvenile.

I had major abdominal surgery and have to sleep on my back for a while. I didn’t find this set too useful. I felt the large pillow was too hard.

Updated Review: Immediately after posting the issue with my pillows, the seller reached out to me. He explained that Amazon stores the packages and they have no control over the packaging conditions. He offered to provide a full refund or ship me a new one from his facility for free. I was hesitant given the situation, but I am so glad I too him up on the offer. Not only was he kind and communicative, ensuring I knew the status of the shipping the entire time, the box and pillows arrived in pristine condition and I inspected it thoroughly. The pillows themselves are incredibly versatile and can be used in so many different positions to provide comfort after surgery and beyond recovery. I'm so glad I gave these pillows a second chance since the issue was at no fault of the seller and I greatly appreciate not only my new pillows but the incredible customer service. I am changing my rating to reflect the update and not my original experience. Previous Review: I purchased this pillow set because for recovery after surgery. The item arrived with BUGS on it. There are also suspicious spots that could potentially be bug eggs or bug defecation. I am appalled and concerned that the bugs could cause an infestation in my house. This is totally unacceptable and I am afraid to purchase another one for fear that it will come with bugs too.
