Easiest way to strip large quantities of wire quickly.
The directions are extremely lacking, but with some simple brain work and common sense, its easy to figure out. I'm primarily referring to the wire size adjustment. You need to turn the plate over to accomadate large wire. Once you get it all figured out, it does a pretty good job. One hour of work and it already paid for itself.

Wow!!!!
Bought this because it was cheap and I only had maybe 70lbs of wire to strip because of a house remodel. Did not wanna give the wire to the Electrician to make even more money off me. (Sore Spot).Stripping wire is something I don’t do. Bought this made stripping the wire a breeze. Stripped all 70lbs on the same blade. But yes buy more blades if you are gonna have a lot of wire.I’m amazed at well this thing has worked. If your like me and just need something to get you by. Buy this and you will be a pro in no time😜

Greatest tool I bought all year.
This thing is genuinely awesome. Idk why anyone is having trouble making adjustments, first time using it right before writing this review and I am so impressed. Glides through the wire coating like butter. You don’t even need to hook up your drill, just crank it through. It goes through very fast. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this. If you scrap wire and have access to a lot of it, just buy this. It’s so worth it. Will literally save you hours and hours.

Great wire stripper, if your careful in setting up.
Don't overtighten the set screws for securing the handle or adjusting or replacing the blade. When I first received the stripper, I wanted to test it first by securing the handle. It worked well, so I wanted to attach a drill to it. I was unable to remove the handle after removing the set screw. It seems that the shaft for the blade is of a softer metal and scored the shaft. I needed to use a pulley removal tool to get the handle off. The same thing happened when trying to center the blade. I thought I had centered it and I re-tightened the set screws. The scoring from the original manufacturing had left the blade free to move, and it was damaged by the wire feeder wheel. Be aware. However, GREAT WIRE STRIPPER!

Hubby loved it! He said it made skimming more much easier!
My husband is an electrician and his hands were hurting him from skimming so much wire. So I got him this and he said it works great! He said to give it five stars, because not only did it work fantastic it was a great price! He would definitely recommend it

wire stripper
Machine very user friendly. I found it's easier to set cutter high and feed a little wire before adjusting the cutter.I hand crank to keep wire straight plus it my hobby to kill time. For the price you cannot go wrong. I highlyRecommend this machine

Mostly Great!
This is a tough review because I have complaints and things I like. Starting with the bad... The setscrew for the hand crank was stripped and the allen wrench won't grab it. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem for me because I would just get another setscrew. The problem is, I put the setscrew in and tightened it with my thumb. It wasn't until it was flush, but not tight, did I noticed the other problem. Now it's in tight enough that I need the wrench to remove it, but not tight enough for the crank to work. For now, the hand crank is useless until I get the setscrew out with an ez-out.Now the good. I purchased this intending to use it with a drill. In this mode, it works great! and I'm very pleased. I"m stripping 12 to 18 gage wire. So far I've done about 25 pounds worth of solid and stranded. I read in some reviews about short, cutter life and that was a pre-purchase concern. I think a short life may be due to an incorrect setting. It's very easy to not pay attention and have the cutter driven into the copper wire. If you're stripping stranded wire and it comes out looking hairy or fuzzy, then you're driving the cutter into the wire and this will probably shorten the life (metal against metal). The difference between cutting the insulation and also cutting the wire is a few thousandths of the inch, so take your time initially. I adjust by slowly increasing the cutting depth, instead of pushing it down and backing it off. Last, it seems to cut better using a medium-slow drill speed. At high speed, it seems to miss spots, possibly because of a slight wire kink. I'm happy with the cutting speed.Last, I used a c-clamp to hold it on my workbench. This is sufficient for small wire. My guess is it would need to be screwed down for larger gage.
