This is a great product - so happy I found it by chance! I have purchased it as a handy carry around place mat for my autistic son. He won't sit at a table if he perceives it to be dirty, or if it has crumbs, even if I wipe it down he still has difficulty accepting the area is clean. So this product simply eases his anxiety completely. Knowing he has a personal mat to eat off simply makes him happy. He can use it at school in the lunch hall. It's also a great, silky, tactile fabric, which is great for sensory children like him.We won't use it as a sandwich carrier - he doesn't 'get' that bit of it at all - but as a roll away place mat I give it 5 STARS!

Son now takes a packed lunch everyday to school and we wanted to go completely green with wrapping etc. This wrap works on all levels. Aesthetically pleasing and fun, great size to accommodate many different sized sandwiches, opens up and creates a decent sized eating area, easy to wipe clean the inner waterproof layer but also easy to hand wash in the sink when requires more than a wipe. Quick drying. Chose this make over some of the others as it had a fun design and it's price point. It has not disappointed and we are buying more so we all have one for days out etc.

Essentially using this is like using Clingfilm without all the faff of finding the end of the roll. It copes well with a standard sandwich (practiced!) and I think a half-baguette would fit too. Add to that the green credentials of not throwing away plastic every lunch time, or having to lug a cumbersome lunch box around, it's great.If only it could hold a chopped salad it'd cover (!) all the bases
