Finished with a sleek painted coating, these springs offer long-lasting performance and easy installation, making them an essential upgrade for any modern home or office. ## Description Door Handle Springs (2.5-turn coil, 2.5mm thick) for internal door handles. Can be used on both right handed and left handed handles. Spring dimensions are shown in the additional photograph. When replacing a door handle spring the two most important things to check are a) the orientation of the external hook compared to the internal hook eg. is it a 2-turn coil or a 2.5-turn coil and b) the thickness of the spring (we define thickness as the height of the spring when laid flat). Most springs are retained with a circlip, which can be removed and replaced using external circlip pliers. External circlip pliers are available quite cheaply elsewhere on . The 2.5-turn, 2.5mm thick coil shown here is the most common type of door handle spring. Please note that if you fit a thinner spring than originally fitted the handle will have some excess play. If you fit a thicker spring than originally fitted it may be difficult to replace the circlip and the handle may have a tendency to stick. To see the different types of door handle spring we sell please click the ‘sold by Northern DIY’ link above and then on the following page click the link for ‘Northern DIY Storefront’. Tip: When fitting a new spring a little grease will give better wear and movement. Fitting instructions are available on the Northern DIY website. ## Features - Pack of 6 long life coil springs for internal door handles - Can be used on both right handed and left handed handles - Spring dimensions are shown in the additional photograph - 2mm and 3mm thick 2.5-turn coils also available - To see our full range (organised by spring type and size) please click ‘visit the Northern DIY store’ by the title above ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Manufacturer | Northern DIY | | Part Number | 25T25mmP6Zn | | Package Dimensions | 9.8 x 5.4 x 1.2 cm; 4 g | | Manufacturer reference | 25T25mmP6Zn | | Colour | Gold / Silver | | Finish | Painted | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 6 | | Batteries Required? | No | | Item Weight | 4 g | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Northern DIY - **Colour:** Gold / Silver - **Exterior finish:** Zinc - **Item weight:** 4 Grams - **Finish type:** Painted ## Images ![Northern DIY Door Handle Springs 2.5-Turn Coil, 2.5mm Thick (Pack of 6) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hpMmju2ML.jpg) ![Northern DIY Door Handle Springs 2.5-Turn Coil, 2.5mm Thick (Pack of 6) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91wdsXfvpCL.jpg) ![Northern DIY Door Handle Springs 2.5-Turn Coil, 2.5mm Thick (Pack of 6) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71bfxm-kPfL.jpg) ![Northern DIY Door Handle Springs 2.5-Turn Coil, 2.5mm Thick (Pack of 6) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91oW9+eeB4L.jpg) ![Northern DIY Door Handle Springs 2.5-Turn Coil, 2.5mm Thick (Pack of 6) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91+izofQBdL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal repair for a floppy door handle.
